  • Both Fred from Scooby Doo and Megatron from Transformers. It's hilarious how some of an actor's roles can overlap like that.

  • Its Fred from Scooby-Doo!!!! :)

  • I nearly damn pissed myself laughing when Frank did Muhammad Ali.

    FYI, ALL HAIL MIGHTY MEGATRON!!!

  • i had no idea megatron had a sence of humor

  • Dean martin and megatron? um...mindfuck anyone?

  • Behold, Galvatron....and Megatron....and Soundwave...and like 1,363 other characters.

  • Everything I loved as a kid, I find Frank Welker did a voice in it somewhere.

  • hes the highest grossing actor of all time

  • It's nice to finally see the face of the man that voiced many happy memories through the years. Frank Welker, you have my gratitude, respect, and heartfelt warmth. Thank you.

  • He got me with the British dialogue. Awesome talent.

  • I just made up for the one dislike, can Youtube revoke that by the way?

  • This man is the original Megatron voice actor. Megatron of the Transformers cartoons generation 1 that came out in the mid 80s. FRANK WELKER THANK YOU!

  • His David Frost is frickin' amazing!

  • THIS is a celebrity roast. Not that toilet bowl crap they pass of as roasts on Comedy Central where it's just about foul-mouthed has-beens trying to out-gross each other.

  • The person who disliked this, you're not a voice artist, GET A LIFE! !!

  • that is superb

what a roast- Ronald Regan and co

    best wishes

  • All...hail...Megatron!

  • XD Frank Welker is made entirely of epic win!

  • Freddie Jones from Scooby-Doo in which he uses his natural speaking voice.

  • A+++ material.

  • Mel Blanc was the one with 101 voices. He did all of Looney toons voices (almost), and many more...

  • Love this guy. He is so funny.

  • He did the voices of Fred in Scooby Doo, Abu in Aladdin, Garfield The Cat, Megatron in Transformers. A great versatile creative voice talent and perfect mimic

  • @hermankatnip Lorenzo Music was garfield, not him

  • As an Englishman his David Frost was spot on, he didnt use the usual "hello good evening and welcome" line.

  • horrible walter cronkite, his carter was off ... he does other voices much better.

  • his real voice is fred ... hahahaha lets split up gang DO AS I COMMAND

  • Megatron, Soundwave, Fred from Scooby Doo, Iceman from Spiderman & His Amazing Friends, Ray Stanz from Ghostbusters, Dr. Claw, and countless others...Frank is truly the God of Voice Acting.

  • @ebbowman dont forget garfield

  • @TottallyRule Wow, I didn't know he did Garfield too

  • when he's sounding like "Freddie" from Scooby Doo, he is shrilling Toyman and droning Megatron. Nice to see the man behind the voice.

  • Megatron on Dean Martins, roast? classic lok

  • Has anybody EVER watched Scooby Doo??? Like this man is the voice of Freddie!!! Since Don Messick died, he's now the voice of Scooby Doo. And he's still working. My hat's off to this guy!

  • Picture you got, now fool you not!

  • The moment Welker went into the Ali impersonation, you can hear the crowd doing a really astonished laugh. Welker packs so much talent. I would've loved to see him perform in the flesh

  • Frank Welker and George Burns on the same stage? Wow!

  • First of all whoever compared Welker to Music, no offense to the late Music but lets be serious here. Same goes to whoever compared Cullen to Butler. For a great page of Welkers credits (over 500 on this page) go to behindthevoiceactors

  • @bosskdawg 1200 roles from i read.

  • @MrRetro8089 I didn't say we were done lol

  • Great beginning, perfect ending! He's incredible.

  • The Muhammed Ali impression put this straight to the favorites! Better than that Will Smith shit.

  • He should've dubbed Zuma the snake hahaha

  • Frank Welker 4 LIFE

  • @stevokwhl The Original Voice of Voices......hahahahahahaaaaaaa

  • Holy crap!

  • Mr. Welker, is one of the great talents of our time, personally if i may say he is so underrated it hurts. so many tvocies top notch and spot on! iam know there are a lot of great voice impressionists out there no doubt, but the top three i think of are Mr. Frank Welker, Mel Blanc, and Rich Little. all three brought so much to us on different levels of genius.

i doubt we will ever see this kind of talent again. as a transformers fan here Mr. Welker is my personal favorite. take care all

  • @hanno21664 Among those in the industry, Welker rightfully emains at the head of the crowd, but don't sell short talents like Maurice LaMarche, Billy West, Rob Paulsen, Dan Castelanetta and others who are equally capable.

  • wow... mohammed ali! that was great!

  • Frank Welker you are an Amazing Person! Period

  • RIP George Burns (1896-1996), Dean Martin (d.1997), Ronald Reagan (1911-2004), James Stewart (d. 1997), Milton Berle (1908-2002), Dom Deluise (d. 2009)

  • this made my day :D

  • Rocks!

  • @dodgesxt he took up scooby doo when the new cartoons started up

  • See! The stupid dumb dumb comedians of our day have forgotten what REAL comedy was! Not the F Bomb every other word or toilet humor!

  • @Melodyotakuchan21 i agree. if it isnt the f-bomb, race, toilet or other wise to today comedians, then it isnt funny

  • damn his Carter is spot on, and his Kissinger was HILARIOUS

I surprised old Burnsy didnt drop dead right there from laughing too hard

  • Wow, I never knew Ronald Reagan shared the stage with Megatron.

  • @AgaMbadi If you ask my mother Reagan was just as evil...lol

  • scooby dooby doo!!!

  • MEGATRON!!!!

  • He's pretty much the new Lorenzo Music.

  • @Doommaster1994

I think that is an unfair analogy since Welker has a much wider vocal range than Music, the new Mel Blanc might be more appropriate.

  • @BenjaminWirtz : Yes. Frank Welker and Peter Cullen are this generation's Mel Blanc and Daws Butler respectively.

  • @Doommaster1994 Lorenzo Music made the most out of one voice. Welker is insanely versatile. Apples and oranges, here.

  • Its so cool to hear his actual voice.

  • frank Welker, aka (G1) Megatron Rules!

  • Frank Welker: God of Voice Acting.

  • @TheShadowedOne1 and fred jones

  • @TheShadowedOne1

2nd ONLY to Mel Blanc :)

  • @TheShadowedOne1 Wrong, while this guy is in the Pantheon of voice actors, the Zeus,if you will,of voice actors has to be the one & only, the late Mel Blanc.

  • What, or better said... who didn't he voice. This man is the king of Voice acting.

  • Welker also did the voices of Dynomutt and Jabberjaw...and keeping with the Curly impression he voiced the cartoon version of Curly on "The Robonic Stooges".

Welker did several voices on the Superfriends cartoons of the 1970's and 1980's: Marvin, Toyman, Mr. Mxyzlpltk, Darkseid, and Kalibak. His Darkseid voice was the same one he gave to Dr Claw.

When this appearance happened, Welker was just 8 or 9 years into his Fred role on SCOOBY-DOO.

  • also Big time beagle, the beagle boys - ducktales

  • sounds just like ALI

  • Awesome work Soundwave, I mean Frank.

  • I'm amused by Reagan being on this panel when Welker is doing his Jimmy Carter impression.

  • @secretagentt Yeah Reagan is loving that shit!

  • Oh man I haven't laughed so hard in a very long time. Frank Welker is indeed a legend in his own lifetime.

  • Frank Welker is my favorite voice actor.

  • WOW!! never seen this!!!

    Thanks!!

  • The man was Megatron. He's a God!

  • And Fred Jones, And Shag, and Thaddeus Plotz, and Furball, and many others I can't seem to remember.

  • Also Dr. Claw. And Nibbler.

  • And Dr. Claw

    And Soundwave

    And Garfield

And Peter Venkman in the Real Ghostbusters

    Truly a God among voices

  • Welker didn't do Venkmen in the Real Ghostbusters. It was first done by Lorenzo Music (original voice of Garfield) and then by Dave Coulier (Joey Gladstone of Full House.) But he is indeed to voiceover sensei. After Mel Blanc died in 1989, Welker assumed that role.

  • Welker did the voice for Ray Stanz in the Real Ghostbusters.

  • @calvinbenedict

Jesus is God. God gave Frank the talent.

  • @SpacerAM2 And you're a hypocrit. I guess god gave you that talent too.

  • @calvinbenedict

And you are a bigger hypocrite by making someone else God when he isn't. God is Jesus. Never forget it.

  • @SpacerAM2 I can make gods? Jesus, I didn't know I was that powerful!

  • @calvinbenedict

    You have ego issues.

  • @SpacerAM2 Maybe. But at least I'm not the one who always has to have the last word in a conversation. Watch.

  • @calvinbenedict He was also Soundwave.

    Soundwave kicked ass in G1

  • @XuliusCaesar Yeah, he did that voice in the movie too :)

  • @XuliusCaesar I'd love to know how he sounded when he recorded those lines minus the vocoder...

  • @jlward oddly enough, if you've watched inspector gadget, (cartoon, not movie) then you've heard what it sounds like before the vocoder. The voice of Dr.Claw is the same voice frank welker used for soundwave....just without the vocoder.

  • @XuliusCaesar Ah, in other words, just like his Soundwave from Revenge of the Fallen

  • @jlward yep.

  • @XuliusCaesar So if Soundwave was the leader of the Decepticons instead of Megatron, would every episode of G1 ended with "I'll get you next time Prime!" lol

  • @XuliusCaesar Funny enough there is an episode of the G1 Transformers where the production company goofs and you hear soundwave without the vocoder.

Thats when I realized they were the same voice.

Also star scream has the same voice as cobra commander from GI Joe.

  • When was this? (Date)

  • Early 1980s.

  • 1978

  • @bostonalext

    thank you

  • @ssnakejoe Had to be 1977 or 78. Carter was already in office and Reagan hadn't begun his 1980 campaign yet.

  • 1976-'77

  • @ssnakejoe 1978

  • Welker has achieved so much since this was filmed.

  • @Ozzman500 this man has done more in his lifetime then these big named actors done in their 15 minutes of fame.

  • @MrRetro8089 Reagan sponsored terrorism in Nicaragua... that's something

  • @MrRetro8089 In your zeal to acknowledge Welker's abilities, it's not necessary to somehow degrade others' accomplishments. Your comment is simply specious, at best.

  • @TheColininla if you look at it from a certain point of view: although they are great in certain roles, today's actors care more about their egos, careers and bigger paychecks. johnny depp and harrison ford are getting 75 million per movie. they have not made 100 roles like bela lugosi and he made 107. i am just saying that welker characters, ranging from vocal to voice, have accumulated to 1200 roles. voice actors really don't get props like they truly deserve.
