This was the first Anne Murray song I got for my collection and I got it around 1974 1975---one of my favorites from Anne Murray which I second the emotion that it hasnt been added to Anne's anthology.......I love this song and Cotton Jenny....
All of Anne`s albums were re-released on CD. They can all easily be found. There are also tons of pirate CD`'s featuring this song. You just have to search...
This is one and a half steps lower [this is in F, the live version is in A flat] than her later version. I'm glad she brought it up to A flat, sounds better.
Ahh! I grew up listening to Anne Murray. I love a lot of her music. I found this one out a few years ago. It's so nice when I run into a song by Anne Murray that I've never heard before.
This is the Anne Murray I remember. It seems to be run a bit slow, but it sure beats trying to find a copy of it for the last thirty years. Seems most people don't even remember this song. What a shame.
I have this LP. It's not too slow, it sounds just like this and the quality is better than digital. You can even hear the needle right at the beginning! Thanks for uploading, I don't have a record player right now so appreciate it, AnalogueAudio1985.
Great early song from the fabulous Anne! It's a pity that very little of her early recordings from the 1960s & 19670s (such as this gem) aren't available on cd.
Turn table seems about a quarter slow! :) - thanks for posting, I always loved that song and she used to open her Florida shows with that song (saw her 3 times down here at Sunrise Musical Theater (long gone now)....
Thanks..I only had live verison of this!

I didn't know it was already released in 1968. Good to know and surely a nice sound.

She's got more balls than you do. And indisputedly more talent...

I remember hearing this song by her on the radio in the U.S. around 1973.

Thanks for posting. This seems to have a better audio quality to any digital version I've heard. Great job!
I always loved that her hairdo camouflaged her with the tree bark! Only in 1968!

Thanks for posting - I've only heard the live concert version of this song but never the original studio version. This was early in her career.
