So you only collect USA dollars, cents and pennys?Do you have any european coins? I collect mostly Livland coins like Riga and Estonian ones. And i like the Tsarist Russia coins, most european numismatics collect tsarist russian coins, theres gold, silver and bronks coins. I have like silver kopecks what cost mainly about 190 euros that's like over 200 dollars in the US. It's a very interesting hoby right ;D? Thumbs up if you like Numismatics!
@Tazjr3 You have bad info the official red book of us coins 2010 states:
"Designer George T. Morgan; Weight 26.73 grams; composition .900 silver .100 copper (net weight .77344 oz. pure silver); diameter 38.1mm; reeded edge; mints: Philadelphia, New Orleans, Carson City, Denver, San Franciso."
where you get the cardboard holsters? i have coins from 1960's to 40 BC so far, i have greek coins and 15th century polish silver uncerculated and alot more
cool bro i live in winter springs and i went to the coin thing in the convention center, that thing was HUGE!!! btw nice collection man ive seen all the parts
the 1999 sate quartor case and the sacawagea book are made by whitman harries and co just type whitman coins in gooogle and they sell a ton of cases abd book for every coin and they are very cheap
the melt value of a half dollar at .9 silver is about $6.50 the last time i checked.. maybe you can find dealers to sell them under melt value, but i can't - and if u go thru ebay you cant get any for less than 6-7 bucks a coin. i lucked up and got a couple nice liberty halves for $7 a piece in AU condition, but most of the time i can't find any better than g-4 for under 7-8 bucks. do you know any place online that i could get liberty halves in any grade for under $6?
I don't think state quarters will ever be worth much more than .25 cents, they minted hundreds of millions....the Delaware state quarter alone, has a mintage of over 774,800,000, NOT including the Silver ones, If I collected them, I'd collect the silver ones only
u wont beleive it but my mom got me like 10peace dollars and like three morgan silver dollars and the mints on some of them are D and S if u have them on cc mint wich is carson city is big money well by im a fan of ur vids by
Excellent foundation to the beginning of a US type set!! I would refer to the foundation of a twentieth century type set, but you have the braided hair large cent.
My advice: Do not pay a premium for state quarters. Rely on circuation picks for these.

Advice: For what it's worth; Buy 90% Ag coins, forget about the ones that'll never be worth much more than face value

Cool you have the 1914D quater. I have one and A 1914. I made bank this past saturday with quaters and halves. I might do an update video.
Great work on the coinage. Just keep them organized. I hate buying two of one coin I already have. I could have bought one i didn't have.
JRHulbret 4 years ago
Glad to see you're getting into silver.
Quaters and halves are my perferred coins.

I have a few silver quarters and a hand full silver dimes including mercury dimes. But my favorite silver coin now is the dollar.
