she is awesome and her high F is still as great as ever....I actually think she was a little bit sharp on it which means she can hit it no problem!! she is the best queen ever and i wish i had gotten into opera earlier to try to go see her!!

Her vocal technique in "Zittre Nicht" interpretation sometimes reminds me of Gruberova, but I have yet to hear any other soprano perform this piece with Damrau's power and clarity. We're indeed lucky that she still sings this at her concerts. Brava.

Good to see Damrau is still a jaw-droppingly good Königin--not a note out of place. That said, I must note that that High F of hers isn't getting as much exercise as it used to. :D

Yeah, she just hitted it, but it was the last aria of a long and difficult program, and she knew she'd have to sing at least two encores. She ended up singing three xDDDDD

I was there myself and this was one of the very few very impressive moments of the night. She does own this role and it does show from how secure she was unlike previous arias.

You seem to take this personally and mistake me for a Damrau hater which I am not. I always recognized she's one of today's best coloraturas that doesn't mean I have to like everything she sings though.

And if you think her high notes were secure, and evenly produced and that it was just me who was unable to enjoy.. I think you're a tad biased.. ;)

Hello, i would like to say that the sound don't give the same sound of her voice in this concert. I was in the first line this night, and she gave so emotions, and her voice is so wonderful... I love her!!! But in this video the color of her voice is not the same.... but it's exceptional... Viva Diana
