Oh so many memories, I loved being a part of this ensemble. I was so amazed as a middle schooler when we were told this was being commissioned for us to play at Carnegie Hall of all places! I was 14 at the time, Hart Middle School from Pleasanton, California
My High School played this last year (I was a Freshman), it was so much fun to play. We got a 1 in contests for it (and even if we didn't) I think we did an awesome job playing it!! :))
when i was in superband i heard them playing this at the district band concert and i thought i heard mr. A say we might play that this year in symphonic band and i want that tympani part soo bad
