  • I know you get this a lot but would I be able to run this game?

Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

    System Manufacturer: Hewlett-Packard

    System Model: p7-1037c

    Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) II X4 645 Processor (4 CPUs), ~3.1GHz

    Memory: 8GB RAM

    DirectX Version: DirectX 11

Card name: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 Ti (Superclocked)

  • @xyzqwa yes ofcourse :D

  • @AeroFix94 Hmm, Can I Run it tells me that OE won't work with my CPU for recommended settings.

  • @xyzqwa not recommended, recommended is a Phenom II X4 CPU, but it will work anyway :)

  • My specs:

CPU: AMD Athlon II X4 645

    GPU: EVGA GTX 460

    PSU: Antec Earthwatts 650W

    RAM: 4 x 2GB DDR3 1333MHz SDRAM

    MOBO: Foxconn AMD 790GX

How well will I be able to run this? Nothing is overclocked yet.

  • @FieryBob maxed out 1920x1080 i think with stable 30-40 FPS :) just put on settings Very high and 1920x1080 :) then you will be fine!

  • gpu not bottleneck X2 64 is for sure, i had 5000+ black edition with a 4850 and it was about the same frame rate as in this video, same video 4850 paried with the cheapest quad (AMD athlon II X4) and i get 50-100 fps on very high settings, and its still the cpu that is the bottleneck.

  • AMD PHENOM II X4 840 AM3 3.2 ghz cpu

    - Motherboard: ASROCK N68CS-UCC

    - Cooler: AMD Stock Cooler

    - RAM: 8GB 1333Mhz DDR3 RAM

    - Hard Drive: 1000GB SATA

    - Graphics Card: ATI Radeon HD 5450 1GB Graphics Card

Can this run on arma 2

  • @PaddyBishProductions on medium i think in 1280x1024 =/ the graphics card bottlenecking the AMD very very much! try to buy an HD 6670 or a HD 6770 or even a GTX 560 Ti then your PC is awesome!

  • @AeroFix94 Thanks for the advice pal, well am gonna upgrade my gpu soon, so i'll check those cards you said :D

  • @PaddyBishProductions the GTX 460 also is a very good card for the buck not to cheap and not to expensive, just over 100 dollars :)

  • @AeroFix94 Okay cheers pal, btw loving mean machine intro :P

  • @PaddyBishProductions yea hehe :) thanks!

  • Could I Run this Game on

    CPU - Pentium(R) Dual-Core CPU T4500 @ 2.30GHz

    RAM - 2.9 GB

Video Card - ATI Radeon HD 5670 2GB

    Please Respond Fast, Thanks.

  • @EyesofGamers medium settings and 1280x1024 :) not sure but you can always the demo on steam

  • @EyesofGamers

i don't think it would be smooth on a weak dual core with low frequency, also T4500 sounds like a laptop CPU -- i didn't look it up so not sure, so i highly doubt you'd see even 20 fps.

  • Lol , and people say the graphics and ai suck

  • @clayton99master yeah,, bollocks!

  • @clayton99master the settings they run it in probably do suck, this games nearly impossible to max out.

  • @xenoliam pretty much, i can barely run this game with 60 fps on normal, i just have a pavelion elite whatever

  • hm, I have a 5670 too but I can't high all the settings and get that performance..maybe it's the CPU ? I have a amd phenom X4 9500...I figured it's decent right?

  • @Klimessss what resolution are you playing on?

  • @AeroFix94

    1280x1024?

    and 100% 3D res.

  • @Klimessss hmm 100& 3D res??? i dont use 3d?? and athlon 64 X2 6000+ is better than the X4 9500, not by much but a little!

  • @AeroFix94

wait..what do you mean you don't use 3D resolution.. >_>

And yeah, my CPU is kinda old and it was one of the first X4 cpu's released by amd, I'm not surprised yours is better :|

  • @Klimessss hmm so you are playing in 3D?? im not anyway!

  • @AeroFix94

nono! 3D resolution isn't what you think..it's basically the overall "grahics" of the game..Change it around in your settings and you'll know what I mean

  • @Klimessss turn of the 3D? cus i didnt know how to put it on

  • @AeroFix94

you can't...the lowest setting is 75%. Check in your options? It should be right below resolution.

  • @Klimessss i dont have the game anymore but i gonna check it later sometimes

  • @AeroFix94

no biggy, it's probably the CPU differance because arma 2 WANTS MOAR CPU POWAH!

  • @Klimessss yeah hahah

  • Sorry I meant to say gtx 460 768mb 4gb of RAM and an amd athlon 2 x4 640 do this on all high?

  • @Aquahorseify yeah for sure :) but i think it will be a little lagg when running on 1920x1080 but lower will be good :)

  • Comment removed

  • high settings all?

  • @Alanblack277 yeah on 1280x720 HD resolution :)

  • 0:25 Rofl!

  • @mupp37 ??

  • @AeroFix94 'No shoot , we friends'

  • @mupp37 so??? :)

  • i have amd phenom ii x3 705e,ati hd5670,and 3 gb ddr3 1333mhz..and it works perfectly!!!

  • @SPOC236 yeah nice! :D how good is your AMD? how many Ghz?

  • @AeroFix94 my cpu is running at 2.5 ghz with 6 mb L3 cache...the frequency is not very high but it runs ALL the games perfectly.it's very cheap for it's perfomance..i recomend it to you :D

  • @SPOC236 nah i have an 3.0Ghz! i have resonly upgraded to that! so no!

  • @AeroFix94 ghz is not the only thing that counts..

  • @SPOC236 yeah i know :D but i have resonly upgraded! and i love this CPU! :D

  • Ah hi again, I see that you have finally upgraded your Pentium to a duo-core. There should be a noticable performance increase. However, I really think you should have gotten a quad core to make use of multithreading and parallel processing. You overclocked your 5670 to 850/1050 without any blue screens/crashes? Mine crashes occasionally at that level, so I reduced it to 810/1025. Using 10.7 drivers. If it's safe, then I will OC mine higher :)

  • @creamie123 ohh hi! :D yeah! i upgraded my CPU now! :D and no! i have not seen any bluescreens and crashes! :D and wow! my card has been like 10x better :D runs every game very nice :D more videos is coming! :D cya later man! :D

  • @AeroFix94 Haha nice to hear, I told you it was the CPU :) . I just overclocked mine from 810/1025 to 850/1050 too. Testing it now to see if it's stable. The time when I got the blue screen was on either 10.3 or 10.4 drivers, so avoid those if possible. Some people overclocked it using Rivatuner to 1000/1200+ (but it gets unstable above 1050+). Just watch the temperature levels.

  • @creamie123 yeah thanks dude :D

  • @AeroFix94 lol mine just crashed using 850/1050 or 830/1050. I used the Auto-tune function under ATI Overdrive and got me to a stable 820/1040. You are one of the lucky ones who can overclock it fully without crashes.

  • @creamie123 ok thats wierd! :D but i have one question! why the hell does MW2 freeze lag like hell with my new CPU! even on lowest graphics and stuff! cuz i could run it with my Intel Pentium 4HT 3.4Ghz! but now i cant even play it! it lags sooo much! ihave the newest Drivers for GPU! whats wrong?? help!

  • @AeroFix94 That's very strange, I'm not too sure actually. 450W PSU seems sufficient for that CPU. Maybe it has something to do with Arma 2 alone, like poor multi-core usage. I'm not sure. Speaking of which, I'm going to try to overclock my CPU by a little :) You can try too using BioS but I suggest monitoring your CPU temps using a software like coretemp first.

  • @creamie123 yeah! i know! strange like hell! my friend has an exacly the same CPU and he can run it flawless!

  • @AeroFix94 Try running it in Very High Priority, it will give you better performance. Btw, is this card really good in big battles??? or does it get choppy?

  • @xXBlu3Haz3Xx i cant run the game on very high! it lags like hell then! but if you have an better CPU like an Intel Core 2 Quad at 3.0Ghz or an i7! you can run it on Very high with no problem!

  • @AeroFix94 Yeah, I have a AMD Phenom 965 BE 3.4ghz. I tried to play the game cheap with price and I got excellent results, here is the thing though. Playing huge battles with like 500-1000 ai will kill the fps. But when I put my gfx settings down, it runs smooth with a few lumps of lag now and then. Now my GFX card is Nv Geforce9800gtx+ 512mb but the highest clock speeds in modern graphic card history. Not even the 400series accomplishes the speeds, but it runs bad in big battles.

  • @xXBlu3Haz3Xx oh sorry! i mean the 9800GTX+ is way faster than mine hehe my bad, i gonna buy a GTS 250 soon :D it is like the 9800GTX+ :D

  • @AeroFix94 I'm planning on getting my first radeon card in a day or two. The ATI Radeon HD 5770, it seems to run pretty clean.

  • @xXBlu3Haz3Xx very good choice :D but why not a Hd 5850? it has 256-Bi card and 1GB GDDR5 and way faster not so much expensive! and the HD 5770 has only 128-Bit! so.. make your choice :D

  • @AeroFix94 Yeah, but I can't spend that much money. I'm pretty broke, except I saved a little money up for a better gfx card.

  • @xXBlu3Haz3Xx ok! thats nice anyway :D good luck :D

  • what is the movie in the beginning? :D

    Love that actor =)

  • @swgoliath its from Mean Machine and the actor is Jason Statham :D
