you deserve to win for these reasons... you're not using CDJs. I don't care who wants to argue with me. vinyl over cd's. let's be real, some degree of skill is required for a vinyl DJ to beatmatch/mix & scratch. CD DJ's do nothing but push buttons and rely heavily on the technology to do the work for them--ie bpm counter, pitch shifting, etc.

this mix flows 99.9% with crispness. tracks mixed great and it flows better way better than others.

Allen & Heath auto win.

vinyl/live pa or nothing.

aww thanks man! i agree as far as the vinyl thing goes, it sounds better, im assuming its more fun to play with, im not experienced with cd decks at all so i couldnt say if theyre that easy to use in comparison though!

You make a great point vinyl vs cd...Many are now starting to learn to mix with cdj's first. On the other hand I believe one needs to experiance and master vinyl first. I have been spining on vinyl for 11 years now and just started using cdj's in june 07. Most clubs in LA and Hollywood are now using Cdj's or on occasion Serato as the industry standard . But by far i get a much better feel when spining on vinyl no comparisons. Nice Mix hypercatjohn, Great Allen & Heath Mixer...

thanks dude, i'll stick with vinyl till they literally dont make it anymore, which'll be a dark day if it happens. i love the feel of mixing with records, ive got zero experience with cd's but it just looks so unappealing to me, just my opinion! im going to get a cd deck at some stage though, just so i can abuse my HUGE mp3 collection!

To adegree I m wid ya but sumtimes cdj rigs is all people can afford argos for 60 quid and your dads compooter early days of drum n bass was aproggramme called octomed a dredd i knew had 2 amigas and octamed on both and made some the most cool D&B around come out on movin shadow nuthin beats 1200 and vinyl its tactile and creative but we all gotta start sumwhere respekk duuude
