  • i was doing the 200m sprint at my sports carnival, and strained my hip flexor in the last 170m. but doesnt matter coz i won. i iced it for a bit, then won the 100m sprint lol. now its pretty much buggered. this exercise is helping heaps to repair the damage. cheers

  • i did some ab workout yesterday after half a year of being inactive. Now my hip flex hurts so bad that i cant even keep it straight wen i sleep, and i walk like a 80-year-old man. somone shoulda told meeeeeee

  • @echo3211 i did and i could feel it tear and it was very painful. I couldnt play ports for about 1 and a half weeks. But you definately know when you tear it..

  • My hip flexors have always been pretty tight. I hurt my right hip flexor 2 weeks ago playing ice hockey. Still hasn't gotten better. It sucks because i can't do any legs or cardio or skate.

  • i injured my hip flexor in basketball and i did this stretch to help, but i didnt feel it in my hip flexor. i did learn one that you go into a starting lunge position and move your pelvis foward, it really works

  • Great demo, the only thing that I would like to comment on is that some sources feel there is a fascial connection between the psoas and the diaphragm (according the myers), so adding a breathing and arm component might help. overall this will help a lot of people
