@TheSaderV she's a Vocaloid. it's like a mix between and idol/action figure/character. Vocaloid is also a software to make music and songs with the vocaloid voice which is a bit a "robot" voice but it's very close to an idol voice :)

Hatsune Miku is one of the characters from something called VOCALIOD, which is a singing software from Nico Nico Douga. Most VOCALIODS sing in Japanese, however there are those such as Luka Megurine who can sing in English as well.

You can find songs by the VOCALIODS on Youtube.
