  • Fantastic,i was in southend essex with the kids about 12 years ago when i heard the sound of the pipes, about 20 mins later i found the lone piper and watched with my family in awe,2 little bxxxxxs was abusing the man so i cuffed one round the head and kicked the other up the arse to the shock of the wife and kids, the piper winked and knew we were brothers in blood. and the wife never said a word.

  • Do ye not play two intro rolls? Why not ? :)

  • @rugb1479 it's called "rip the calico"

  • @rugb1479 the3 name of the second tune is called good drying its a rody Mcloud tune

  • The guy in the back row on the right is not showing off, he is playing an Celtic war drum, and it has to be played with a lot of florish because of the timing of the drum beats.

  • @FresnoTwink who thought that thats silly tae think that he was showing off

  • wow, this is amazing you guys sound so good, keep it up sick stuff

  • Sounds great!

  • Can somebody please tell me what this player was doing? He or she was standing at the extreme right in the back row.

  • Spitgalore... that's a tenor drummer and he's flourishing while playing. It's very common in pipe bands.

  • he also seems to be directing the outhers

  • Nope, he's definitely flourishing, you just can't see his sticks so it looks like he is just flailing his arms around manically.

  • I like the flourishing, I wish all the drummers would do it. I just posted my Guitar arrangement of "Scotland The Brave" on YouTube. Check it out.

  • lmao :))))) ,,,that's a big screen in the background also providing the background drum music and effect of a Scots marching band!!!! you must have had a glare on your wee computer screen or smokin' to many dodgy ciggies!!! (which is a good thing I might add ,,,promotes smiling!!!!) :)))))

  • 08njack u need to get a grip these guys are all under 18 and the first tune they play is The Wise Maid which is in shotts and dykehead's medley for the worlds 2008 so how are they not good like to see u do better

  • thats how it should be playd with the pipes

  • the first tune is the wise maid then good drying and at the very end they are about to go into the 98 jig

  • Its a good set and its played well but the youth pipe band aren't that good. Listen to there other sets. Good pipers tend to stay at local pipe bands as the Youth pipe band don't compete.

  • WOW NICE ! That's very cool !

  • Top Notch, great skills & talent well done lads.

  • whats the name of the first tune?

  • ahhh u guys are all dicksXD so jealous of u guys:P but seriously u guys sick

  • brilliant go on lads you rule!

  • This takes a lot of practice and dedication to get to this level at such a young age. These are the great pipers of the future and anyone who knocks this is a @@@@@ and should be ashamed of themselves. Welldone guys keep up the good work - excellent +7

  • Great Set...

  • to "thepiper84" Give the youth band a break. it sounds like your up your own arse

  • Sounds great!

  • Sounds amazing but how it comes that they wear different tartans.

    Probably stupit answer?

  • The memers all wear uniforms from the various bands they play in; the NYPBS only comes together for concerts.

  • Great job! What is the first tune of the medley?

    Thanks

  • The first tune they play is "Wise Maid". (Reel)

  • Thanks, Sure the youngests started to blow the practice chanter, they were in diapers ;-)
