it sounds like the voices are saying "imperfect"---I absolutely hate this song to be honest, not because it sucks, but it puts me down in a weird way--its so haunting that for some reason though, once in a while, I'm brought back to it.
Every time I listen to this song it reminds me when I lost my best friend who played piano. It's been 5 years, we trained with each other since recruitment, he was like a brother. The week before we left for Gronzy, we were in this empty hall and he was playing a song his sister taught him. I still remember the day he died, the blood from him had frozen and his face was ashen white. When ever I hear the beginning of this song, I remember him playing with his eyes closed. How I hate war.
this is probably one of my favorite albums ever. usually i get sick of hearing the same songs a few times on my ipod but this album has never gotten old, it's so beautiful.
@roadmovie I only heard the Koln Concert a few days ago, whereas I've been listening to this album for years... I had no idea where the opening piano bit came from until I heard it. Man, it hit me like a ton of bricks. Both this and Koln Concert are incredible.
This song's edgey feel makes me think of a cold winter night, where-as the haunting yet invitingly comforting vocals make me think of an actual seance.
(Please note, however, I'd suggest never attending a real one)
lol i like the comments about this song. and yes, this song is truly amazing and it soothes the soul, like some kinda of euphoria to this crazy life. <3
I just demolished about 8 trees in my backyard in a FIT OF FUCKING RAGE BECAUSE I FOUND OUT MY NOW EX GIRLFRIEND WAS FUCKING AROUND ON ME, sat down at my computer, changed my facebook status to single, popped youtube on, selected this song and within 20 seconds, I fucking feel awesome. Goddamn, I love this shit
@Zephius If you're anything like me, kind of surfaces the structured maturity in you doesn't it, possibly making you feel superior to the less knowledgable. Sounds like a load of bullshit but it does for me, and it actually depresses me though. Makes me feel more alone. Not sure why, but to me, this tune screams Wise & Lonely.
this song gives me hope. Whenever i feel like shit, i listen to a blockhead track like this and it refreshes my mind, reminding me that there is a reason to keep on living life. =)
The opening tune is stoling from keith jarrett koln concert...But still, it only confirmes there great taste of music!

this is much like boards of canada but in a more accessible form - that's why i like it more

@susypeti
More like "It's like Boards of Canada except he doesn't use the same samples and sounds for every fucking song - that's why I like it more". :P
Ah, I like BOC, but that does irritate me and I can't listen to too many tracks back to back.
