@Epikpwnerrocks your welcome, also DQMJ2 is coming out August 28th, so i would just wait for that if you plan to geta new one, since DQMJ2 will have friend codes/random wifi battles, and more balenced monsters. (look up DQMJ2 on google to see all of them) as well its spose to be more difficult than this one.

The only one I met wild was Metal Slime and I allways get 1% capture and allways fail. I got lvl 20 ish Golden Golem and Diamagon and 15 ish Ruin. Any tips on Synthin' or captire? I got to the last shrine but can't beat the Demon-At-Arms
@TheMovieGuy100100 the Kaiser you get from fillin gup the skills i believe and talkign to one of the people in the commish's office at the end of the game, and the metal king, i got him through the same way and the little metal one i captured myself.
Sounds good. I got atleast 1single powerful monster that can learn metal slash. Also, above I mentioned Ruin. He can't psyche, so tips on a replace... (Bad luck 'cause he can learn metal slash, and Diamagon who can psyche can't learn metal slash)
@TheMovieGuy100100 A, any monster can get the skill if you get if you have a skill set "anti metal", which can be found on all hunter mechs, it also lets you get Metal beater if you master it, which would allow more damage on hard bodied enemys.
and i have no recomendations for replacements, but just look up a list of them that have psyche up and you can easily get a few.
And I thought my monsters were good... If ur wondering I got an orgodemir, a Zoma and a nimzo I'm wondering if I should put in my wildcard or my killing machine though... God dammit

@monsterhunterminegar I just got DQ9 right now, its a very good DQ game, but DQM games are on a whole different game in general. but i prefer these games cause they take more thought, but i have to say, DQ9 is a great game so far.
it hink DQ is the best RPG for DS (and PS2 and others) out there. Its way more fun then FF (Final Fantasy). DQ has the best story in every games (Ive played almost all games from DQ)

I played the DQ9 demo today inj my local store. It seems for me that the hero only can choose swordsman as his job (which is pretty lame). And there was no option on changing his job (ive asked on my local store but they dont know anything). SO can i play with my Hero as a Mage or Thief? Or only Swordsman?

@SylvWolf u will be able to change once u get further but have to ulock advance classes like (Spoiler Alert) Mage knight or as they call it armamentelist? ranger, paladin,sage,superstar,and gladiator.
@SylvWolf I can answer that question cause i beat the game, yes eventually you can change job types ( vocations ) and you become whatever you want but you start off as a minstrel, a person who is basic all round person, but yeah you can eventually you can change your vocation at this place called Altrades Abbey.

is it possible to have more than one incarnus' on one team , because on wifi i fought a team named incarnus and he has 3 incarnuses, but they were diferent types...
sadly, i lost, he has one monster left, i have one left, and i think he used kazapple while all psyched up before i could heal
tips wise, i would say get a monster with a trait of metal beater (antimetal teaches it) and can psyche up (mischevious mole is great for this, and easy to get) and have alot of oomph powders and patience, get alot of 10000 gold intervals, and you can go into the Metal Menagerie and you can find each kind there (minus dark/gem/kaiser) and you can get a better (not super great but better) chance of scouting metal slimes.
as for how i got them, collect 150 monster skills and someone will give you a metal kaiser slime, i won 4 liquid metals on the wifi in the regionals to get a king (quad synthing) and i scouted by joke (didnt thing i would get it XD ) the little guy, so yeah.. thats how i have them too.
oh and in the last dungeon, fight the black dragon over and over again (then exit the main where the ace of spades was, and do it again) and you can get swords that sell for 5000g each, thus making money very easy to make, i still have 40 to sell if i need too, but cause of all my leveling of alot of monsters, i have about 120k still to use XD but best of luck for ya.

Sure, i'll say this, i don't use the incarni at all in the game, so i wouldn't know what to do with the second one, but as for the other two.
The tortured soul, if you get a king bubble slime. which can be gotten by any a rank and a slime monster, you can synth those 2 together to get a wight king. which is better wisdom and mp than the tourtured soul, as well stat gains.
but for the demon at arms, i would look into another attacker, since most 2x attacking monsters are lacking actual attack.
-- but either way, look into more of them, killing machine is a good one, but i never really use high ranked monsters normally. so monsters like the ones in this vid are not common for me at all. but if you want a good attacker, you can try to get a night clubber, or a Moosifer, both are semi hard to get, but they are great for having a power house, that and not many people use them at all, so you'd have a unique monster compared to other teams (which is why i use the idiots on my teams.)

Again, X ranks arnt all that good, their traits are what makes them powerful ,but i'd rather have low ranks with good stats that can live a few back and forth hits.
but they do look good, but Mortamor's hp and mp regen is useful i guess.
Metal Slimes are one of the hardest to get, since they are more rare than kings, and need more to scout for some reason, i scouted my liquid metal slimes to get a king in this game, but it took me 3 files to get a metal slime.
Nah, if you can win, you can get some, but some teams are almost unbeatable unless you dont hold back, and its Square-enix tourney rules so its harder than normal fights.
I got the Metal slime by scouting (only way) liquid metal , i got bored and won 4 liquid metals from the regional circuit, so i got a metal king from them (even though you can get one as a reward for it) and on the kaiser, i got as a reward.
well, i synthesized the estark, and even with my whole team using kaoomphle (or whatever the spell of that on the max is called) i STILL only get above 10% with a critical hit!!!
you dont have to scout metal king slimes to get them - you can unlock them by getting 100 skills in your skill library and then speaking to one of the people in the comissioners office :)
easiest way least for me, was beat up the wifi regionals (i think Tuesday, i cant be quoted on it, just look it up) but if you CAN beat the wifi, you can get liquid metal slimes as rewards, and eventually you can get a metal king slime, but other than that there is no guaranteed way of getting metal ones at all, and the more you have of a monster, harder it is to scout too.
I would think to get 2 LMS from that way, then scout two more. Really wasn't that hard for me.
I have a Gem Slime, used to have a Darkonium Slime, had countless Kaisers, a LMS, a MS, a MKS, and I got one with only 5% that I turned into a Beetlebully.

advanced monsters isnt everything, technically f ranks have some of the best stats, and s and x ranks tend to suck for max stats.

nope, thats not it, any monster synthed so its a +5 will be levelled to the highest level 75, +10 makes them raise to level 99.
really, all you have to do is synthe your monsters more.

God! I suck so badly compared to you. I would like some tips on geting good monsters from an master like you. Here's my team if you wanna know.
Demon-at-arms - Hanzo lvl 37
good attacker, not to shabby defense.
Diamagon Ace - Dimitri lvl 25
don't trust the level! He is good! good stats! and good magic like Kazing!
Tortured Soul - Painful lvl 41
Great healer and defender! He's no small potatao when it comes to MP!

Sure, i'll say this, i don't use the incarni at all in the game, so i wouldn't know what to do with the second one, but as for the other two.
The tortured soul, if you get a king bubble slime. which can be gotten by any a rank and a slime monster, you can synth those 2 together to get a wight king. which is better wisdom and mp than the tourtured soul, as well stat gains.
but for the demon at arms, i would look into another attacker, since most 2x attacking monsters are lacking actual attack.

-- but either way, look into more of them, killing machine is a good one, but i never really use high ranked monsters normally. so monsters like the ones in this vid are not common for me at all. but if you want a good attacker, you can try to get a night clubber, or a Moosifer, both are semi hard to get, but they are great for having a power house, that and not many people use them at all, so you'd have a unique monster compared to other teams (which is why i use the idiots on my teams.)

Again, X ranks arnt all that good, their traits are what makes them powerful ,but i'd rather have low ranks with good stats that can live a few back and forth hits.
but they do look good, but Mortamor's hp and mp regen is useful i guess.

Metal Slimes are one of the hardest to get, since they are more rare than kings, and need more to scout for some reason, i scouted my liquid metal slimes to get a king in this game, but it took me 3 files to get a metal slime.

Nah, if you can win, you can get some, but some teams are almost unbeatable unless you dont hold back, and its Square-enix tourney rules so its harder than normal fights.

I got the Metal slime by scouting (only way) liquid metal , i got bored and won 4 liquid metals from the regional circuit, so i got a metal king from them (even though you can get one as a reward for it) and on the kaiser, i got as a reward.

you have to raise your team to least +5, after that you can raise to lv 75, +10 and up means you can raise to lv 99.

if you enter a scoutpost, go left. you'll see a woman behind a counter with an egg symbol thingy on it.
talk to her, and you can synthesize a + and a - monster with each other if they're level 10 or higher.

one hard question: how can you scout metal king slimes easily?
i have estark, killing machine and nimzo at max lvl with metal slash and obsidian sword, but i still get around 6%!
how can you do it without hard/to/get monsters and without critical hits?

You HAVE most of the hard to get monsters. Estark, anyone? Also, use oomph power or the spell, for they never run on the first turn.

well, i synthesized the estark, and even with my whole team using kaoomphle (or whatever the spell of that on the max is called) i STILL only get above 10% with a critical hit!!!

you dont have to scout metal king slimes to get them - you can unlock them by getting 100 skills in your skill library and then speaking to one of the people in the comissioners office :)

easiest way least for me, was beat up the wifi regionals (i think Tuesday, i cant be quoted on it, just look it up) but if you CAN beat the wifi, you can get liquid metal slimes as rewards, and eventually you can get a metal king slime, but other than that there is no guaranteed way of getting metal ones at all, and the more you have of a monster, harder it is to scout too.

I would think to get 2 LMS from that way, then scout two more. Really wasn't that hard for me.
I have a Gem Slime, used to have a Darkonium Slime, had countless Kaisers, a LMS, a MS, a MKS, and I got one with only 5% that I turned into a Beetlebully.
