  • I use to live on a one way street with Malfunctioning rail bars that came down and stayed down for hours after it rain.... I reported it to the RR and they never came out and fixed it tell someone got tired of it and ram thru it....There a times when the RR are to damn lazy to fix the things resulting in the not working when needed... In any case if you can't hear the horn of the train....Then you are either deaf or just plain stupid. They blow there horn long before they reach the crossing...

  • I use to live on a one way street with a malfunctioning rail bar that always went down when there was a large amount of rain I called the RR several times to report it...They never came and fixed it resulted in someone getting in a head on collusion with another vehicle due to they had to turn around and go the opposite direction down the street ...At one some ram there way thru the bars...It was then the RR finally came out and fixed it....There is a chance for bars to NOT function when needed

  • hahahahaha, there are some dead fuckers that can't follow directions in that car. I'm glad those ones won't be reproducing anymore.

  • Cause?

Were there signals at the crossing?

    Low speed impact?

    Thank you.

  • @robertgift The cause is the same as it is for ALL car and train accidents. The driver was a fucking moron and got what he/she/it deserved. Trains aren't on tracks by accident. Signaled or unsignaled, you need to stop and have a look before crossing, if you don't, and get killed, it's your own goddamn fault.

  • @Polybun If the crossing has signals, no one need stop and look. Stopping causes more fuel waste and pollution, vehicle wear and tear, etc.

Would love to know how this moron driver managed to get hit by a train?

Hope his insurance refuses to pay. (We pay insurance claims.)

  • @robertgift bullshit. Even if there is a signal, you should reduce speed and prepare to stop. Now, you can go ahead and decide to be cheap, try to save yourself money, but myself, I'll just be smart.

  • @Polybun Nonsense. Have never known of a grade crossing signal to fail. When they do malfunction, they fail safe. They also have storage batteries which will operate them for days if the power goes out.

Plus, I listen for a horn.

No need to slow and waste fuel and make more pollution and slow others behind making them do the same.

  • @robertgift There is still the chance for failure. All it takes is for a signal bond to come loose. I'll just do as you are suppose to do, and approach any rail road crossing with caution. You don't give too shits about pollution. If you did, you would have an electric car. Your major bitch is having to slow down and "waste time." If being careful is wasting time in your eyes, I would hate to see what the wrest of your house looks like. I guess cleaning is wasting time too huh?

  • @Polybun I drive a used Toyota Camry Hybrid.

No hurry. But I'm not slowing and slowing others behind me.

Being careful is listening for a locomotive horn when approaching a grade crossing.

If a signal bond comes loose, the signals OPERATE.

I enjoy cleaning house listening to the radio or talking hands free (earpiece) on the cordless phone while doing so. (Except while vacuuming)

    Nice try.

    Next?
