Very high up :O! I hate it when I see things like that but like it at the same time because the height is so impressive. oh - how are you or someone else supposed to get into that motor room that high in an awkward position by the stairs what happens if the ladder falls? :D I like the way the shaft is open on the winding drum lift because it makes it look much better than the ordinary lift especially. Great video! 5*
@harrihealey02 Cool, thanks Harri :) The motor room isn't 'really' high. Probably some short steps would get to it. My shoes were a little too slippery to start climbing on hand rails to reach it, so I didn't!! I'll take trainers next time LOL!
I checked out the motor rooms for the other lifts. They do a strange thing here, the key for the motor room is in a seperate small locked cabinet, that's mounted ON the door (you can see it in the middle of the screen at 01:56-it's in the red box).
@funcik1 That's the question :) I don't know. Does it have one? Might not, but if it does, it'll probably be in the lift shaft of the lift that's next door. But the other lift serves the 6th floor, where the scenic lift stops at the 5th, so the shafts don't exactly line up.
@thyssenelevator95 Yep, no black buttons you mean? :P I like the bulb position indicators on the lower levels with the totally faided ink on the paper behind.

@funcik1 One of our customers has sites all over Europe. I don't go abroad that often, about once every 2 months on average.

Now THAT is how you modernize an elevator! If it weren't for the new COP you would never know that it was modernized!
