i have a similar project.. im doing a 87 base model rx7 with an s14 sr20. so far i have a really sexy fab oil pan. i just pulled the old 13b. i have some cleaning to do. motor and trannny mounts and then comes the wiring. if anyone has any information or can help me with wiring. lol.. id really appreciate a email or something.my name is matt. my email is mjracine@mail.neit.edu . if anyone has any info please. :) i know a few things. or if anyone has any electrical diagrams for the sr20 ..thanks.
Hi men!, well, I see you ran the steering rack, which address did you use terminal? stock because I do not think this will serve to be farther than where the dough hook. I ask because I have the same problem in my RX7 with sr20det. Thank you.
@analogueorange Its a light weight car, An SR20 will make gobs of low end TQ compared to a 13B. Its plenty, trust me. an RB adds around 300lbs more to the front of the car, destroying the balance that this car is all about. LS1 is a great option for these cars.
hey do you have any pictures of your oil pan and motor mounts and what all you modified to make the swap work? I will be doing this this winter, mater of fact just picked up a shell.
was it complicated or expensive to do this ?
