Nah the whole concept works on the SMS sensor, or sudden motion sensor, the initial idea was so that it parks the header on the hard drive if it detects acceleration over a certain threshold. To test it play a film on a mac from the hard drive and "pretend to drop it" kinda thing and the film may stop, depending on the amount of the film thats in the ram. it can also email or text you if it is moved without your password etc etc. =)

The great thing about PCs is that you can swap and upgrade with plenty of freedom, at least in most cases. If you know what you're doing, you can build a great computer, and if you're nervous about putting it together yourself, there are plenty of companies that will build it for you. It's great for experts, and the upgradeability makes it superior to Macs for gaming. Sorry Mac-gamers, but the ports you get are nowhere near the quality of the PC versions.
