1. Don't bash other metal artists, we must unite! We cant fight against pop music if we arent even together

2. Watch more and more metal videos to get it to the top of the youtube vid list

I think they are running out of good ideas, and now re-writing their old songs so they can still release albums and make money :)

They used exactly the same riff in this track as the one in motherzone. The chords, the drumbeat the whole chorus (main riff) is the same. It's like Nickelback haha. All their songs are based on the same few chords. BORING

@jdnoidea since I happen to like both Blood Stains Blondes and Motherzone... I don't give two shits about the riffs being recycled. :) Besides, it's not like Deathstars is the most intellectual thing ever created. It's that feel, the dark vibe, the tone that I can really get into. If I want smart music, I listen to classics, or maybe to Kenji Kawai and Hans Zimmer.

And yes, I did play parts of this on guitar, and they ARE in fact the same, so you're right in that. :)

@vanishy0urself Not all their songs are the same, just the 3rd album had some copied riffs off the 2nd album. That's what I don't like, because I KNOW they can do better. Just listen to Synthetic Generation.

I love their first album, was less melodic and more brutal riffs, it was darker and heavier, not as gothic and melodic as the last ones.

But their last 2 albums sound like H I M, with some electro influences lol. Hope they get back to the Synthetic G. style one day

@jdnoidea my favorite album is actually Termination Bliss, I think it's the time where their blend of metal and electro is at its best. Synthetic Generation is a close second, though, with some extra-awesome riffs.

Night Electric Night is not worse than SG, IMO... it's just uneven. Some songs that are truly amazing are interspersed with music that is... not so great. It grew on me eventually, though.

Their first two albums (Synthetic Generation and Termination Bliss) are my favourites, but Night Electric Night is a lot better than half the stuff you hear on Kerrang now days. A lot of stuff on music channels is just commercial shite, this is nothing like that in my opinion.
