@simplename92 yeah acdc did it but it was right after bon scott died. Its been too long and we've gotten used to the idea of sublime being brad eric and bud. Rome will never be accepted by the majority of fans. plus, new singer aside, they dont have the same feel or sound.

Its all for marketing. The Duballstars and LB Shortbus put out some great music, but nobody's heard of it (except for anyone that watched the TV show Joey). Under the name Sublime they can play whatever songs they want, and people will listen. I'm sure Brad would be happy for Bud and Eric who probably thought long and hard before calling themselves Sublime again. Personally, I've followed them throughout, but now Bud and Eric might get some more cash in their pocket and more fans to rock out
