Captain Gault was cooler than Keamy, and everyone said he was dangerous and shouldn't be trusted. They never showed that in him. If they hadn't killed him off so quickly he would've been one of my favorite characters.

I think it'll be some sort of bomb that's rigged to explode if he dies. It might be recording his heart rate, and if it slips below a certain point, the device'll explode and kill everyone within a certain radius.

It's just, he seems so hell bent on killing everyone on the island, makes sense he'd have a back-up plan incase he's killed.

Yes, it's quite obvious really. The reason Keamy says to the captain "you don't want to do that" is because the cap'n has perfect pitch and would be distressed by the out of tune guitar if he accidentally broke the tuner. The reason they want to find Ben is because they found out Charlie's guitar broke and Widmore would be angry at them - so they need Ben to open the island's guitar storehouse, which is behind that door Ben goes through in episode 9. Hope this clarifies things!

well i can, it is certainly extremely obvious to me and giovanni that the guitar tuner will be able to help and tune the guitar. Charlies band has hired the boat, not widmore and because of that keamy cannot be killed because the others are actually a really good band who respect other musicians and wouldnt like charlie to be performing with a guitar that is out of tune, you understand now??
