I fail to see your point about the "Adam and Eve/Parents" analogy. Yes Adam is Human. The fact that we are created in the image of God means that we are not God since God is eternal. We have attributes of God such as free will, the inate ability to discern right from wrong, etc., but this does not mean we are God. How many times can God say over and over again that he is the only God?

The only thing I agree with in your post is your statement that YHWH does not lie. You must differentiate between the one (and only) true God and all other gods which are false gods, or "gods" in the representative sense.

You fail to quote the rest of psalms 82

You only quoted verse 6 - “I said, ‘You are “gods”; you are all sons of the Most High.’

Verse 7 goes onto say - "But you will die like MERE MEN; you will fall like every other ruler.”

1 Corinthians 8:6 explains that there are many things called "god" but Paul clarifies that there is only One God. Jesus himself even said that there was only one true God (Including the Father but not excluding himself).

At Psalms 35:23 we see the psalmist refer to YHWH as "MY God and MY Lord" Just as Thomas called Jesus "MY Lord and MY God" at John 20:28. I don't recall ever saying that God could die. During the incarnation, Jesus possessed both natures, human and divine. As man, in the flesh Jesus died, but as God, he could never die. Also consider Jesus own words in John 2:19 - "Destroy this temple (which verse 21 states is his body) and I will raise it up again. He could only do that if he were God himself as the bible says that God raised him from the dead. Father, Son and Holy Spirit were all part of the resurection.

In two instances, John is being rebuked by an angel, when he (john) fell to his knees to worship the angel who showed him what was going on (Rev 19:10// 22:8) Now, JESUS is the archangel Michael, but he did NOT rebuke Thomas' worship. He SHOULD HAVE! Thomas should have been rebuked by this angel! (John 20:28) ONLY GOD is to be WORSHIPPED! NOT ANGELS.

Where does it say that Thomas was praising God from where he stood. It does not say this in John 20:28. that's for sure. You are reading something into scripture. I was a catholic for many years (I am no longer though) however I do not remember them ever worshiping the sun! Ieven looked up in the catachism and did not see anything about the sun. Saturn or Jupiter either. Some one just e-mailed me and said it was the galaxie NC-1504 because of its angle. I have no clue about that. Either way, thanks for the reply. Very informative.

I watched many of Walter Martins debates on the John Ankerberg show. He did a great job of defending the faith against heresy. He tears up freemasonry, the wicked NWO Bahai faith, mormonism, and many other cults. He did a good job debating a Jesuit on their Mary worship. Unfortunately he did not list the catholic church in his list of cults and it turns out that he is even good friends with that Jesuit he debates on the Ankerberg show.

Martin believed that the Catholic Church is genuine as far as basic-basic doctrine is concerned. However, and he's said it in debates (I listen to Martin rather frequently) that the Catholic Church is a backslidden version of Christianity.

He still preached against many practices in tapes that are available practically everywhere.

Yes I realize this and I agree with his assertions but I think if he knew what the Society of Jesus is all about then he would know that there could never be any real fellowship with them. Also I see most these ecunemical movements as attempts to set up a One world religious system, especially if it is one that was started by a Jesuit priest. Why would a real Christian want to have anything to do with that? Im just saying, you shouldnt trust Rome (nor most of these "protestant" churches).
