To unlock the planet buster, get the Warmonger 5 badge. I forgot how many planets you need to conquer. Just go to your enemies and blow them all up.

Gosh I don't know it's been a while since I played.
If you just focus your time on trying for that one particular badge you need to get it you'll have it in no time.

Colonise planets, get them to T3 so you can have three colonies on them, buy and deploy one of those spice storage boxes and reap all the spice you can.
Then sell it, sell it all! Green and blue spice can go for ridiculously large prices.
