  • you have a mac

  • I just finished burning a dvd and when I put it in my dvd player there is no sound..do you know why this is happening?

  • hi there i try using the 16.9 but its comes out like a 4.3 can you help me?

  • I keep getting a message saying An error occurred while burning the the DVD at 99%, can you tell what I am doing wrong

  • @760phillip - Probably nothing if it gets that far along. Have you ever been able to burn it with other software? Could be a problem with the source file that doesn't happen to cause issues with replay, but shows up when burning. I've seen others in forums online that have converted files with similar issues to a different format (from WMV to AVI for example), then tried burning again, and it worked.

  • @760phillip OMG im getting that same problem...

  • when i try to run windows dvd maker it give error and says:the video card installed in this computer doesn't meet minimum reqiurments.

but i have 128 Mb VGA card.

    what should i do?

moreover when i am to chose a screen saver it says:the screen saver can't run because it needs a newer video card or one which is compatible with 3d.

    help me plz!

  • @alishanjavid1 - I don't know what's wrong, but strongly suggest you find someone local that can come take a look at the computer. Might be driver problems which can be difficult to troubleshoot.

  • Why is my intro so short? I only see two pictures in the background and then it stops. The music also. Then it starts again.

  • @Elyesa15 - Not sure. I just let it run in Chrome and everything seemed fine. I'll check again later. If something's wrong I'mm remove it or redo the video. It was made well over a year ago and any video can be improved of course.

  • can I use this program to make youtube vids

  • @100302 no

  • Żal że piszecie po angielsku

  • I used VMWare Fusion on a Mac to run Windows and then used Camtasia for Mac to make the video. Or do you mean something else?

  • what application did you used to make play window inside another application?

  • @Ryannsss i think your problem is your video make sure you convert it to compatible formats like vob.file unless you don't like your DVD.video to be audioless i suggest you xilisoft video conerter this is a best video converter you will find to converter most formats in any popular formats

  • When i put in a disc it keeps saying to put in the dvd

  • @Vietchahn make sure that the disc is dvd-r, not cd-r

  • thanks helped alot

  • the movies that you burn on windows dvd maker can played on dvd player

  • I use Windows DVD maker and I put to long of a video for my choice and was wondering if I could edit the movie and split it in half?

  • @Tacomapyratepunk1003 - I've not done it before, but a search on "windows dvd maker slit movie" got a few results that might help. Doesn't look like this thing will let me post a url to the Yahoo! Answers post, but it looks most promising.

  • @Tacomapyratepunk1003 split it in move maker

  • @Tacomapyratepunk1003 do it movie maker

  • @Tacomapyratepunk1003 thats why you should use a different program, the other issue with this program is that it doesn't support the two most popular video formats around these days, MP4 and MKV. I suggest you look into convert x to dvd it will auto-fit lengthy projects (ive burned dvds with more than 8 hours of footage and it still managed to look decent enough). It does however take more tweaking in the settings to get everything right.

  • what you record with

  • im burnin a movie on this as im typing hopefully it will work fine and there wont be no out of sync audio or video

  • Are you using Windows 7? If so is it 32 bit or 64 bit? avi should work, but sounds like you may not have a codec for avi files installed. I've seen posts online about problems with Vista and avi files. There's a website out there with some codec files that help evidently.

  • Every time I try importing a avi or mpg file, it says file not supported o items were added successfully

  • @Phenomex4life

same... i donno what the fuck is up.. i try importing jpeg pics, videos anything.. it says unsucessful.

  • @leaf16nut put it on moviee maker first

  • @Phenomex4life put it on movie maker first

  • Thank you for the lucid tutorial. I assume that your DVD will play on any machine.

  • @LouisDiBianco yes on computers and dvd players or ps3/360

  • Great video, thanks! The only drawback is that it takes about an hour to make/ burn a DVD.

  • its a great program!

  • Nice review! :3
