It depends on what you do. You can play any game on max even if you have a core 2 duo with a Geforce 295. The processor does not matter all that much when playing games. But when you do 3d work and video encoding, as well as play games, a system like this is essential. my 920 is currently at 4GHz and I love using every little bit of its power along with my geforce 280.

Not bad but one thing you should do is reroute your cables. You have Sata and cables bundled with power cables. This could cause data errors as voltage ride on the outer part of the copper wire. Might save you a few headaches in the future ;)

I got that, and I am not rich and its also not stolen ware. So what can I say? I'm also not a magician that makes comps apear, and no aliens came to give me my machine. 3000euro is not THAT much for a comp. You see, if I was rich, I would have for example one of those nvidea cards that you can buy for 10.000usd. I would also have several of those comps. But as I aint rich, 1 is enough to play games, isnt it? :)

some ppl spend over 5K euro / year on partys and disco, you know, where you buy a vodka of 0.4 dl for 10euro ... I rather go restaurant and buy a big pc. So at the end, its not that expensive as I do at least 2 years with it before I go for better one. Its all about knowing priority's. In my country ppl get aprox 1500euro/month. At least those nabs that work. But even with such poor salary, its still ok 3000euro every 2-3years you know ^^

The current ssd's slow down and need to be secure erased too much. When the prices come down and windows 7 comes out it will be a better time to buy them. 7 will have a built in feature that helps them not slow down over time.

Good idea and btw if you don't have to much money on your hands it might be a good idea to only buy like 32gigs of ssd and install windows on that drive. For regular storage (movies/music etc.) you can still use normal hdds :).

nice build but in honesty you should have got a 920 OC to 4 ghtz gotten a nother 295 and pocketed 300-400 bucks... 965 is a complete waste on a air or even water cooling only time you will get it higher then a 920 is only phase changed or liquid nitrogen ect.

cable management improves the airflow through the case therefore keeping the components a few degrees of farenheit cooler

Hmm what do you think I should have done different??

Instead of fixing the pci cable to the front put it behind the motherboard tray and then route it round into the graphics card. Also take the cable tie off the firewire and usb and push it through into the rear of the case. Then it will look good

Any tips on how to over clock just built my first PC runs at 1333 but mother board says it can over clock to 1600

got my sata HD today so it actualy got faster used old hitachi 80gig for first boot up was amazed at how sata actualy maid it faster lol my old PC was a P4 1.8gig 400 FSB so this is a HUGE jump up

just curius on how to overclock I have read into it a bit and to be honest there alot of risk if u mess.
