  • ultra!

  • This is the most entrancing filmic experience I've had since the psychedelic ending of 2001: A Space Odyssey.

  • McLaren's abstract animation is unleashed imagination. It is incredible how he makes these images so captivating, when they have such potential to become boring.

  • beautiful video but the music sounds like the theme to Robin's News on the Howard Stern show... :/

  • listening to chill jazz music while watching this is the best.

  • incredible visuals and perfect / amazing music.

  • Great visuals - horrid music. This cries for some contemporary[+-] experimental minimalist whathave you stuff like brainticket, throbbing gristle or kraftwerk.

  • Oh yes, so it can be the same like everything else. Whatever...

This is a brilliant combination of visuals and music. It's pure genious.

  • It's like watching the powerlines as you go alongside them on the train.

  • holy crap it's the world's first rasterdemo

  • That was a glorious experience. I loved it!

  • yay scotland more like

  • YAY Canada!

  • To Consider:

Are the lines passing by each other, bouncing off each other, or creating rotating, 3-dimensional shapes?

  • had some sweet moments. the ending is awesome, it just takes too long to get to it

  • it made me feel like if i were trapped in greece. somewhere in a small alley by the sea overlooking the waters....nice.

  • that's a sweet comment.

  • Its like someone just woke up and their eyes start to flicker then it gets lively because of how many time you blink in the day..then it starts to slow down and the eyes close for sleep <3

  • This film is actually the same as Vertical Lines but turned at 90degrees with new colors in the background. McLaren thought of it after a chance encounter with Peter Seeger. See my comments on the other movie and learn how this whole creative process was first concieved and executed because there is also a third movie, this time using only the joining points of both the vertical and horizontal lines it is called Mosaic and use Mc Laren's trademark drawn sounds.
