The reason why this was so bad is because we're used to The main characters always getting the better of Michael and him just killing off the secondary characters. To have him kill someone like JAMIE was a really bad move. It would have been better if they had a movie that makes Laurie & Jamie finally meet and in the end, they defeat Michael once and for all. Jamie should have never died.

Well he was mentioned in a clipping in H20 but ressurection no course not though i hated H20 and ressurection them films were just diabolical i guess the halloween franchrise was never really the same again without Donald Pleasance. As for Jamie she could have been a good replacement for Jamie Leigh Curtis in the Halloween series shame the producers lost the plot after the 4th film.

Alot of people don't seem to like part 6 but j thought it was superb plus Michael is a TANK in this one lol, but it does get annoying when characters are in one series then it's different ones then they come back older and then die or never see them again
I really hated this scene. I almost wanted to turn the movie off after watching Michael kill off Jamie like that. But I got myself together to watch the rest of it, but Michael killing Jamie in such a thankless manner just really pissed me off. I felt the same way when he finally killed Laurie Strode at the beginning of Halloween: Resurrection, and after I saw that, I shook my head in disbelief and got up and walked right out of the theater and just went and saw something else that day.
i still don't know why the story had to involve Laurie pretending to die and leaving Jamie, why can't she take her daughter with her too, like Jamie pretending to be dead with her

The body count; in the beginng of H20 one of the officers recounts all the murders that took place on Halloween nigh '78( dnt remember exactly how many, i'll have to rewatch it later) but its more than 4 who died in part one. 2. John tells Laurie " You told me yourself you watched him burn." Laurie replies. " I didn't exactly see him burn to ashes." 3. In the intro of H20, can see Hospital photo of Laurie.
What this proves to me more than anything is that Michael is not only brutal, he's truly *sadistic*, something that contemporary killers (Jason Voorhees, I'm looking at YOU) usually tend to lack; its not enough for Michael to impale Jamie on the farm machinery and just leave her to die-- he impales her, and then *switches the machinery on before leaving her there*. Implies to me that he wanted her death to be especially painful, after having eluded him for so long.
Has ANY character in ANY horror franchise EVER had a more raw deal than Jamie? The poor thing spent half her short life being first traumatized enough for fifty people--first by having her parents die, then watching all her new family members and friends get killed one by one--then being abducted and imprisoned for years, then impregnated against her will, then being brutally murdered, at long last, by the very monster who'd haunted half her life.

I wish that they would stop killing off the good female protagonists that survived Michael in previous installment only to die in the next installment. First they killed Rachel from Halloween 4, killed in 5. then Jamie from 4,5 killed in 6, and Laurie the main protagonist imo (since she was the first.) who survived 1,2, and H20, only to get shitted on in Resurrection which was stupid. Those three should have never died. Especially Laurie. They should have ended the series at H20.
Just to let u ppl know,, during the time this movie came out, Luarie was actually dead, they werent planning on making H20 after this, they were gonna continue this storyline but seeing as it didnt work well with the fans, someone else made H20 and ignored the events of the last movie, meaning that Laurie never had a daughter and Michael is just a psycho that's hard to kill instead of a cursed puppet.

1. She wasnt happy that her character Jamie was gonna be killed off
2.Because the producers refused to pay her the money she demanded for the role(a measly $5000)
However i hated the fact Jamie was killed off and the producers really lost the plot with this one they never should have killed Jamie off.

Alot of people don't seem to like part 6 but j thought it was superb plus Michael is a TANK in this one lol, but it does get annoying when characters are in one series then it's different ones then they come back older and then die or never see them again

I really hated this scene. I almost wanted to turn the movie off after watching Michael kill off Jamie like that. But I got myself together to watch the rest of it, but Michael killing Jamie in such a thankless manner just really pissed me off. I felt the same way when he finally killed Laurie Strode at the beginning of Halloween: Resurrection, and after I saw that, I shook my head in disbelief and got up and walked right out of the theater and just went and saw something else that day.

The body count; in the beginng of H20 one of the officers recounts all the murders that took place on Halloween nigh '78( dnt remember exactly how many, i'll have to rewatch it later) but its more than 4 who died in part one. 2. John tells Laurie " You told me yourself you watched him burn." Laurie replies. " I didn't exactly see him burn to ashes." 3. In the intro of H20, can see Hospital photo of Laurie.

What this proves to me more than anything is that Michael is not only brutal, he's truly *sadistic*, something that contemporary killers (Jason Voorhees, I'm looking at YOU) usually tend to lack; its not enough for Michael to impale Jamie on the farm machinery and just leave her to die-- he impales her, and then *switches the machinery on before leaving her there*. Implies to me that he wanted her death to be especially painful, after having eluded him for so long.

Has ANY character in ANY horror franchise EVER had a more raw deal than Jamie? The poor thing spent half her short life being first traumatized enough for fifty people--first by having her parents die, then watching all her new family members and friends get killed one by one--then being abducted and imprisoned for years, then impregnated against her will, then being brutally murdered, at long last, by the very monster who'd haunted half her life.

In my Halloween world, only Halloween 1,2 and H20 are the best and that's because they follow the original storyline.
Halloween 4,5,6 take place in some parallel world or something.

I wish that they would stop killing off the good female protagonists that survived Michael in previous installment only to die in the next installment. First they killed Rachel from Halloween 4, killed in 5. then Jamie from 4,5 killed in 6, and Laurie the main protagonist imo (since she was the first.) who survived 1,2, and H20, only to get shitted on in Resurrection which was stupid. Those three should have never died. Especially Laurie. They should have ended the series at H20.

Just to let u ppl know,, during the time this movie came out, Luarie was actually dead, they werent planning on making H20 after this, they were gonna continue this storyline but seeing as it didnt work well with the fans, someone else made H20 and ignored the events of the last movie, meaning that Laurie never had a daughter and Michael is just a psycho that's hard to kill instead of a cursed puppet.
