  • thank you so much for video ^^!

  • Hello!

    Where are you from?

I'm trying to understand a little bit of arabic rhyrhms

  • heh...handing pattern...wtf

  • . . . Boomin' Granny. . . Let's see it !

  • WTF!!! my 90 year old grand mother can play that!

  • Nice. Then your 90 year grand mother can post a response video. I'm sure the students will find it very inspiring. I definitely need more videos of women playing. If she plays Bedouin style even better

  • What's different about Bedouin style?

  • @iqaat its good to see rhythms slowed down; often videos are drummers playing at tempo and it is difficult for new drummers to see what their hands are doing. I am a female drummer :) ... a younger one, he he

  • Well, duh! He's playing it very slowly so people can see the hand pattern of:

    D T K T D K T tk

Its played much faster than that in a song. Isn't that also called "walking maqsum?"

I'd also love to see your 90 year old grandmother play! Go granny!

  • LOL, you are so funny. The problem is not how to play the rhythm on a drum, but to implement it on an instrument such as a violin, oud, organ, cello etc. Usually, drumming the rhythm will help the violinist/oudist to also play on a rhythm. It will become very clear when you listen to a free improvisation and another improvisation with a rhythm on the same scale/mode. :)

  • @CE818 AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA xD

  • *clap*

  • More!

    =)
