so far I've enjoyed everything your site has shown EXCEPT FOR THIS ONE!! WHY? Well, don't misundertand me but the food is wonderful but this SONG IS AWFUL! Please stick to the old traditional songs of Fairouz etc, It just makes it more pleasant to follow your cooking video than this poor Arabic version of rap...sorry but I had to say what I felt. doesn't mean I won't keep visiting your site. I'm actually lookign forward to your next recipe, except without the "RAP".
thankyou for your response, I will certainly be checking into your youtube channel and I know you will be teaching me lots of scrumptious new recipes. Will catchup soon ,take care, be safe.
@madeitwithlove , Thanks for coming by and checking in my video. Hope you get to see more of my videos on my youtube channel, i have more middle eastern recipes that will get you familiar with the flavors. have a great weekend!
loved the video - We used to have the best lamb Shawermah when we lived in Tabuk, makes me miss the trips downtown for our favorite food!! i will have to try your recipe, it sounds really good.
iwould have rather heard you talking about making the Shawermah rather than the music tho.
I would often buy Shawermas from street vendors in Iraq, they were always very good. One of the best parts of my tour there was learning some of the foods. My favorite was a lamb shawarma from a little town called Zumar outside of Tal Afar. You just can't get a quick meal like that at McD's or BK.
I lol when my husband put his french fries inside his sandwiches. I mean, there's no right or wrong way to eat french fries as long as it ends up in your tummy I guess. Conversely, my husband laughed at me when I put the tea leaves before the sugar when making tea. Heh, cultural stuff.

things change, people change, food changes too. Shawerma is still good in Beirut! Barbar makes pretty good Sahwerma, beef and chicken.
