@Dermo1985 Rotary's are loud. If you ever looked under one you would see that they come with 3 gigantic mufflers and 2 resonators (at least FC's do, not sure about FD's) just to keep them quiet enough for street driving.

Friend of mine has a 91 N/A FC with 5 mufflers and it's still crazy loud because it has a Racing Beat longtube header and 2.5" stainless piping.

Thats how rotary cars sound like, especially open exhaust setups. Its really loud and raspy. People hate it or people love it. Rotarys arent for everyone.

They are not necessarily raspy. Traditional mufflers make them sound more raspy. You really need a specially designed muffler like a rotaflo to make them sound good.

Only restricted exhausts will effect the type of raspy sound you will get. Open exhausts will always make a rotary sound raspy and loud. Thats how it is, exhaust sounds are determined by the engine. I have been searching for exhausts since i got my FD and although my PFS catback sounds good, sometimes its a bit loud and it drones on the highway.

so you have to let it rub like that, otherwise if you let it out it will just fully engage and take off on you..
