i have 3 80 DKs on different account for the one per server thing.

blood seems to be the best in pvp, but unholy is

very decent for 2v2 kind of action, etc.

i just put 14 or so into frost, 5 into unholy,

and flow out with the rest in blood.

seems to work pretty good.

Frost will make you a great tank but I wouldn't advise it until you get to 80 because they are hard to level.

Well, I have an 80 DK. And this is what I have liked so far. I'm talking about endgame when I talk about the specs.

PvE DPS: I like 17/54 for PvE DPS.

Tanking: I'm not sure but most of my friends like frost for tanking.

PvP: My favorite PvP spec is 21/50 for the mark of blood in Blood.

well im speced in frost and that is awesome pvp and i can take mobs. freeze them and take one at a time, dont wait for them to unfreeze. and did u see the attack that hit them all for like 600?iv crit 2.4k with that and im lvl 63. and 2.4k on one target not 4 600s

personaly i think blood is best. that is what i am. the healing is awesome on them and i can easaly survive about 4-5 of my lvl mobs on me at once. i have 23% crit unbuffed and i have around 200 melee dps on average. im lvl 64 at the moment

i would say if u wanna tank as a DK u would have to use some points in Frost , because of the armor increase and such + howling blast is awesome when doing multiple mobs - and can also be used while tanking boss's , blood is more dps spec and unholy can be used for dps / tanking seen unholy dude tanking raids they do a fine job , but if blizz made blood for tanking they should really move some talents around.

i agree, im lvling a dk to 80 and although i under dps unholy dks, i find blod is a good lvler b/c u never need to stop to eat and it "ok" for killing groups. "ok" as in u move target to target, with a few pestilences and blood boils thrown in

I played blood at first, thinking that it would be fun to have the self heal. It was nice at first, but after a while, it just lost it's touch. I then went frost, and I love it. Variety in skills, easy tanking, and I almost never go down. I may have to spend a little extra on food, but it's worth it.

NO blood is NOT the best spec for leveling. Unholy and/or Frost are best for leveling because of the mass AOE, even though Blood has 0% downtime, unholy and frost kill way faster.

For PVP blood and/or unholy are considered the ways to go, depending on what you perfer, mass AOE or solo/0 downtime. I personally am going 18/0/53 for IMP Runetap (less downtime) and mass aoe damage.

deep blood minor frost. this spec will grant u immortality and u will lvl faster than unholy. u cant aoe grind as good as unholy btill take on mobs 2-3 lvls higher than think the highest i did was 8 at lvl 60.u will see giant numbers and finish every fight with full health or there abouts u will not die i cnt belive the speed shit dies when u get obliterate and work out a good rotation. dks are the gods of wow simple as

ur frost bit needs a bit of work imo, still a fine video and great insight. what ive noticed from playing the dk for a very short period of time is that dps is based on spell combinations. without the right ones your going to notice a lack of dps. good vid.

I think the question for most people is "What is the best spec?", it doesn't have much to do with what everybody else is doing.

Besides, ur gonna have the most fun with a spec which makes u an unstoppable killing machine. Thats why i chose Unholy.

Im srry to say, But Unholy doesnt look all that amazing, Dont get me wrong, Becoming a ghoul, and corpse explosion looks pretty beast, But only being able to command one ghoul... Its a hunter but just Mixed with warrior and mage. I Think blood will b a better pvp class with the self heals, Message me if you have a reason that unholy is better than Blood. All classes of Death Knight can tank and tank well when compared to other tanking classes.

For me, I prefer unholy cause I like the diseases and being able to use pestilence to spread it AoE style.

Frost has more dmg mitigation. Blood offers healing aid for supporting healers. Unholy offers good magic dmg mitigation.

All of them offer great TPS and DPS. Good job Blizzard, you made me proud..

the quality is kinda bad so cant really tell, but as frost you should focus more on obliterate and howling blast when using your runes. plague strike doesnt do enough dmg as a frost spec and is wasting your rune CDs

blood is more of the leveling spec/raiding spec and frost is for tanking. unholy is more PvP me personally have more into blood but im about half into unholy and i do huge damage.

The groups for the new dungeons will be looking for tanks, so frost is great for that. If u want to lvl though, go for blood for dps against single people/self heals (so you can chain kill) and unholy for aoes (so you can kill a bunch at once)+you get pet to absorb some damage, both good for lvling
