  • thanks a lot

  • Can you find the bootup sound?

  • @super58173

No, I don't think it's possible either. Most likely it's a firmware thing.

Theres a free app avail for mac user & possibly compatible for windows called mactracker. It gives you all the boot up chimes, pictures, & info on every product Apples made. Once you install it, you dig into the App and you will find the boot up sound there. The app will even request updates as soon as Apple introduces new stuff.

  • @pokeeto2- Yeah, I know, it just sucks that you can't customize anything.

  • @super58173

Yea theres not a whole lot u can do. But you can change the skin of the dock ( 100's of different themes for it ). If u've got enough ram & speed, u can put screensavers to play on your desk top. I've tried in the past the save hollywood screensaver & I put in dozens of high quality YT vids. Personalize the look of the default icons. On screen Disk eject simulation when you eject a disc.

U search hard & u'll find theres theres quite a bit U can change around.

  • oops-you answered my question near the end of your vid -i also found a tutorial on how to do this in imovie...

  • thanx for the vid-it was very helpful for me-is there a way to mix the music to the video clip?

  • wat screen recording sofware do u use

  • @azzamrockon

Quicktime X. Comes with Snow Leopard.

  • Isn't the intro in Snow Leopard the same as in Leopard?

  • Yeah. Someone else on here says that the Snow Leopard Intro flows a bit quicker and posted a side by side video. Any slight delay from starting the video on a side by side comparison can change the whole thing. I don't see a difference...(yet)..

  • Well, I don't own OS X Snow Leopard or Leopard, or an Apple computer, so I couldn't care less of their similarities or differences, but from what I have seen they are basically identical, one may be a little faster than the other, idk.

  • Overall it similar. SL has a smaller footprint. Apples says they just made it faster but they did add a few nice touches. In Snow Leopard, I can access all my apps, utilities, documents, and downloads from the dock. Before you had to go into your Hard Drive, Kinda Like the My Computer in Windows. And I can preview a video in an icon form without actually opening the video. Thats just a few things I now use all the time. Theres other hidden features that I have yet utilized.

  • Well, My computer shows all the drives, etc. in the computer. It's not just the main system drive, like in OS X. But yea, I see what you are saying.
