Yeah, exactly. It's inorganic compounds we need to worry about. Taxing animals bodily functions is a method of control. Like Alex said, the animals will be doing the same thing, only it will be in Argentina and Brazil - further destabilizing our economy. As if farmers and ranchers don't have it hard enough, government bureaucrats have stooped to a new, despicable low. I can understand the anger. I think a lot goes back to compartmentalization. Consumers partition their minds as far as what they buy. They know enough to pick up a package of hamburger or a can of peas from a supermarket, but everything that comes before that phase isn't important. As long as the beef is in the refrigerated case and the can of vegetables is on the shelve. They won't look at the whole until it's no longer there, at their fingertips. Then it will be too late. It's down to the wire. Support small farms.
