  • When I was four I had cancer, and now at age 13 Im showing signs of leukemia

  • my friend has leukemia, shes 7, i cand stand it

  • My best friend is going to die from leukemia round chrismas :'(

  • im currently in remission from leukemia and i appreciate the fact am still alive ive seen so many people stop fighting it and leave us just goes to show that it can happen to anyone great vid!

  • sorry, i have some questions this part of the video

an estiamted of 44240 new cases of leukemia will be diagnosed this year, is for the world or all the country!! please I need this information!

    thanks!!

    ps:excellent video!

  • my cousin has cancer and one of my friends died of this horrible disease at 14 years old. :( i go to relay for life and donate i donate in every jar and i would do anything to get rid of cancer!!god bless everyone!

  • i pray my heart out to all of those out there suffering from this terrible sickness

    :( god bless

  • Try having it. imagine going through chemo and surgeries and say that it does absolutely no damage.

  • byrneinh311, you should burn in fucking hell. i hope you or your mother gets fucking leukemia and die from it. would you fucking like that??

  • Don't do the same and lower to his level.

Your just causing the cycle of pain

  • I wouldn't wish cancer on even the most ignorant of people.

  • my aunties lips are numb she can't feel her gums and last night she was rushed into the emergency room of internal bleeding theres your damage and if not damage to the victem it hurts me

  • Absolutely no damage? The only possible way to achieve remission is to POISON yourself with chemotherapy/radiation in order to attempt to kill cancerous cells. 1 in 3 people will get cancer in their lifetime, the other two will know someone who has been diagnosed. It does plenty of damage. It destroys your body, you're in and out of hospitals constantly, even if you go into remission there's still a chance that it will come back. Get educated, Cancer effects everyone.

  • byrneinh311, you must be one sad sick person to say cancer doesnt matter. its worst than asma and diabieties. and that all matters. just be luck yyou dont have it. they have to practically live in a hospital.

most of them die at like 5 or 6. my cousin has cancer but im glad hes surviving hes still unlucky like everone who has cancer. but atleast they are actually brave enough to live through it. and they have families. i try to pray everynight and ask god to help those who are sick with cancer

  • you deserve to goto hell for saying that

  • if i have a credit card l will donate like 50K

  • I still believe in God and I know he'll help that kid coz God is good but if something happend to him there is nothing we could do for him but to pray for him and still believe in God becoz I know that God has a purpose for it...everything happens for a reason...

  • Have you ever experience a DEATH from cancer?

Approx 3 hrs ago i was told that one of my closest longest and best friends had 3 days to live.

    We are both 14.

He was diagnosed with leukemia at the age of 2 and has been fighting it his entire life, but still would come into school, laugh, smile and LIVE as much as he posibly could, despite numeruos bone marrow transplants and brain surgeries

I am still one of only about 20 people to know.

i come on here, and i see your comment.

    It's Bullshit.

  • My father was diagnosed with it, he hasn't got long to live. If you don't believe in God, then I feel sorry for you. Hopefuly your friend does. I know what you have to go through. Try having you own dad having it.

I still believe in God, and know that he's going to be watching over my dad. If the time comes and he dies.. I know he'll be in a better place with God.

    I'm sorry for your friend.

  • my grandma died of cancer but i never did got angry with God coz I know that he has a purpose with it... I love my grandma very much and it hurts so much when she died...she's been the one who took care of me since I was a baby and when she died everything changed to worse...but I still think that everything happens for a reason, I know its hard to accept the death of your loveones but U need to accept it.....

  • my 6 year old cousin have cancer too and he is still fighting with it now...its really hard to accept coz I am very close to that cousin of mine but the only thing I can do for him is to pray and still believe in god no matter what happens...I know everything happens for a reason and God has a better plan for that person so don't say It's bullshit,....you dont have a right to say that!

  • i feel sorry for u and your cousin, but im in a worse position than you are, Your cousin can still beat leukemia and can stil pull through this (i hope he does) but my best friend since the age of 3 is actually DIEING and there is no medication that can help him anymore, he should have already died by now, his estimated time is up, its all a question of waiting.

I have as much right as anyone to say what i like.

I have no intention of changing your mind.

    Good luck for your cousin.

  • It's called hope. You should drink a tall glass of it.

He's a fighter, you should fight with him. Stop putting an expiration date on your friend, this isn't a waiting game, it's his life.

  • really? cos he died last thursday.

Plus why would you know if he was a fighter or not? you're acting liking you actually know him, like, better than i did :(

  • I'm not saying I do. I'm just saying that he kept beating the expectations, didn't he? I'm sorry for your loss, I couldn't imagine losing my best friend. :\

  • thanks, look, i'm sorry if i sounded acussational or angry in that last comment, it's just a difficult situation rigth now, but thanks for understanding :)

  • i know how the difficult sitch thing goes. my dad died of lung cancer. :\ it's hard, but it gets better -- just remember how lucky you were to know him in life. :]

  • My sister died of leukemia six years ago when she was only fourteen.. I believe in God and she's in a wayy better place now but like if God had such a good plan for her why did he have to put her through so much suffering for four months first! seems kinda messed up to me xo

  • yeah, i keep asking myself the same question, and as for my beleif in god, it was never that great but has weakened signifficantly now, though i do still totally beleive in heaven, it's what keeps me going :)

  • I totally agree with you my sister died of Leukemia 7 years ago and my friend said to me oh it all happens for a reason but then i got really upset and said why would there be a good reason for a 5 year old to die of cancer and the rest of the family to suffer to have months of treatment to have your parents go through depresstion and for her to be bulied at school because she had not hair it just makes me so cross and upset at the same time.

  • my cousin was diagnosed with this about a month ago..he's only 6 and he's a sweet child..i don't think he deserves it but it's life...we just need to accept it and live life normally as long as we could...we just need some more prayers and we need to make him happy everyday so that he'll not feel he's sick coz the doctor said that there is only a very little possibility for him to be okay again..=(

  • my dad has leukemia and is now at home on something like 20-30 tablets a day some of which knock him out. but we go through life thinking that things like this will never happen to us, reading stories and watching tv about people who have cancer and when it affects your life its like soemone throws a brick at your stomach

  • You are completely right.

My doctors though I had mono, and I thought that was bad. But a few days later I found out i had leukemia.

My heart goes out to your dad, and everyone else battling leukemia.

  • this makes me want to cry im already tearing up :(

  • The child at 0:36 look also like a case of progeria...

Either way my heart goes out to these children....My grandfather died of cancer 8 years ago and losing someone to a disease like that is terrible. The treatments put them through so much pain...=(

  • I am so sorry for all of you afflicted by this horrible disease. I am currently writing a research paper about new treatments for leukemia, but all you get is the science and hope for a treatment without any real sense of how many people have been hurt by it. This video was amazing in bringing that humanity lacking in medical journals. i loved the song and different font styles-it really emphasized the point. i'm going to show it to my class when i give my presentation. My thoughts are with you.

  • My sister had this disease, I remember her fighting. She fought, and she won.

  • my cousin was diagnosed with this today and i almost lost it he is 12 years old! i would never thought that he would get cancer? what did he do to deserve it? i would donate but i'm only 15 and i dont have money so please people listen to this person and save people from dying.... including my cousin

  • a 50% survival rate.. thats awful, very informative video though. im a survivor of it myself.

  • my grandmother was diagnosed with leukemia in october of 2007 just a few months after she had broken her shoulder falling she was 82 when she died so its been a couple of years since that of course i still miss her but i know i'll c her again some day...

  • i LOVE THIS VIDEO.. MY BABY IS 5 YEARS OLD. HE HAS ALL WITH THE PHILADELPHIA CHROMOSOME AND THE CANCER IS IN HIS CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM. hE IS MY HERO. mY PRECIOUS ANGEL. HE IS THE BRAVEST PERSON I KNOW.. WE HAVE BEEN FIGHTING THIS BATTLE FOR 9 MONTHS NOW AND NOW HE IS IN MAINTENANCE. tODAY WE WENT FOR JUST A CLINIC VISIT AND WE WERE TOLD THAT HIS LAST BONE MARROW SHOWED THAT THE CANCER WAS RETURNING. PRAY FOR US... AND FOR TAYLOR... AND PRAY FOR A CURE FROM THIS HORRIBLE DISEASE!!

  • omg, I'm so sorry. I will pray, I promise. This is terrible. I was just diagnosed with AML last week myself. But I'm 22, not a little child that doesn't know what's going on. God bless you & your little hero, he truly is & he makes me stronger too.

  • my son has cml. he's 11 y/o today. the medicine has serious side effects. but not all leukemias require the same treatment. my son wouldn't look any different than the avg kid, except he has some anemia which makes him pale. we are on the verge of cure. if everyone helps a little, we'll get there.

  • they showed this in our skool grant and umma donate this shit bad

  • My mom had cancer, for all you people who sadly had it too. good luck.

  • I had this disease.. Luckily I am alive

  • Ive had acute myloid leukemia, i was diagnosed march 2007 - i had 6 months of treatment, and lost my hair 4 times through chemo.... when you get diagnosed you can either get upset (with every right) or get o with it and try your best to recover... im fine and healthy now and have to go for check ups every month or so - and i get to go on trips with TCT and meet other teenagers going through the same.... help find a cure..x

  • Best Regards From Republic of Türkiye...Every time We have to Fight with Leukemia. We Can join to registered donors...I wish one day leukemia will finish:((

  • One of my close friends had leukemia when she was 4. She's healthy now although she still has to have routine checks of her heart and blood.

Also, my boyfriend's father died of leukemia and him, his mother and two brothers always celebrate bandana day.

I am shaving my head for leukemia in March 2009. Everybody should get behind the research of this horrible disease. Together we can make a difference.

  • I agree, everyone should become a registered donor, of bone marrow. i bet if more people where registered donors the survival rate would be 80% or higher

  • my nephew got an infection 3 weeks ago we took him to the hospital where he stayed there for 2 weeks.the doctors notice his blood cells were swollen by 10 percent. The doctor told us its leukemia but he wanted to be sure so he send some blood to get tested. The results should come today but when I heard about this I started to cry my nephew is only 8 months and he is the light of the house.I notice my sister holds her pain also but I know she wants to die everytime she remembers

  • Lost my father to leukemia some years ago.

He was suppose to live for maximum three months but he held on for a little more than a year.

Was a strong man, in a year, made him look like he had aged fourthy years.

I used to believe that he was going to make it even though doctors told us he could pass away any moment.

Sorry that I don`t have a more positive experince to tell.

  • I was diagnosed with leukemia today, whats the rate for me to get well?

  • High if treated properly and on time.

  • KLeenaGirl, I know exactly what you're going through. Someone I know and love has leukemia and is going into chemo tomorrow and I am so scared for him :'( My best to you and your friend.♥

  • One of my closest friends (he's like my brother, though we aren't related) was diagnosed with Leukemia in 2006. I was there at some points when he had to undergo chemo and it was so hard to watch it. So painful to see him suffer. Even though I expierenced a lot of curing procedures with him, I still can't imagine how people can deal with Leukemia. I'm just so thankful that now he is almost as healthy as before the diagnosis. The video makes me want to scream at the injustice of the world.

  • no its not something you are born with. something activates your cancer in your body.

  • 6 years ago my bestfriend died of leukimea i miss you casey.your always in my heart and thoughts

  • I was diagnosed with leukemia when I was 8...it was a rough ride but I've been in remission ever since..

  • i thought remission was on for five years?

  • Remission begins once the disease is "clear" from your system

  • i know that - i meant how long you were in remission... ive had cancer and its what my doctor told me

  • I just finished chemotherapy and i hated it i noe feel so bad 4 other chlidren who have cancer!!

  • I was 25 when I was diagnosed. Not once did I cry for me. But my mother, never did I think I was going to need her at this age. I can only imagine what the children feel. Oh and laughter is great therapy, so is faith. No matter who you pray to.

  • my cousin died from leukemia i was only 6months old..

  • i had acute leukemia and just finished treatment in may this year was getin treatment for 2 years and now get check ups every month.

  • When someone has leukemia and is getting cured.. do they get medicine or an operation?

  • It's medicine. Well, for my part it was medicine. I have never heard of someone who had an operation...

  • it depends most of the time they will get medicine but my friend had chemo and she had surgery last week so if its not invasive then they will just probably cut it out.

  • They, can get chemotherapy, or a bone marrow transplant, chemo takes sometime to cure it, bone marrow transplants, take way less time usually, and have a good chance of curing it.

  • bone marrow is the only close operation ..

  • Since leukemia is cancer of the bone marrow/blood, there aren't any masses or tumors to operate on. People with leukemia usually undergo chemotherapy. Also, many have bone marrow transplants or stem cell transplants. In some cases where the cancer has spread, radiation is a treatment.

  • my bffe suffered from leukemia when she was about 5 she missed two years off school and was in hospital in icolation for about a year she was one of the lucky ones R.I.P all those who weren't so lucky xx =[

  • my friend is 11 years old with leukimia her name is Rae

  • I'm so sorry for them who knows somebody who has Leukemia and for them who has it...

  • Dont be I was diagnosed at the age of 15 and I really dont care because of all the oxycodlone, ativan, morphine, ext.

  • I was diagnosed in the age of 3. But was declared recovered, healthy, 3 years later.

I remember a lot of that medicine that was given to me...

  • ALL people at the clinic I go to are depressed, I am happy to be there because it is like a legal opium den. Like in a restaurant the first thing I do is order benzos and opis.

  • my friend Brianna Merritt died july 5th 2008 from leukeima....

  • I decided to find more information on Leukemia because I just found out my cousin has it. And her daughted Avery might have it too.

  • i have cancer and this 1 look at my vid called crazy frog my hair is short cuz it started to grow

  • who sings the song?

  • my friend ally guinter was has leukemia and i moved as soon as it happend and i wish i was there to comfort her ='[

  • my elementary raised up to 5,500 $ for leukemia and lymphoma cancer. Our goal was 3,000 $ but we overpassed our goal.

  • so i have an aplastic anemy its very similar to leukemia, so tkanks a lot:-)

  • are you born with it..or is it a diseas?

  • well everyone has cancer cells just they have to be activated by something. but obviously we aren't sure what activates them yet.

  • not quite,

like, in ALL, they're white blood cells that don't do their job correctly (blasts) because they are immature.

  • if u have leukeima doesnt mean to say ur guna die. the treatment doctors do these days is wonderful, my nephew is fighting leukemia at the moment and hes a strong little boy to say hes only 3 years old. Hes a fighter and he will cure :)

  • its not necessarily ! noone knows what causes leukamia ! so your not neccesarily born wit it !

  • when i heard that my mate had lukemia i had no idea what it was but after watching videos like this it has made me a lot more aware of the situation so i have donated over £2.500 to the charity

  • nathoam what selfish thing to say

my sister has leukemia and theres children in that hospital fighting for another day longer

u r evil and i hope you rot in hell

my sister has to fight everyday of her life to stay alive and thts all u can say ! i really hope that you didnt mean tht !

  • I cried watching this, a few weeks ago i lost a close friend of mine to Leukemia, and i've seen het batteling the fight, she was almost cured they said, she had a donnor, everything would be fine, and then she rejected the donnor and her condition went down, leading to death. I can't imagine what it is to be sick, to have cancer, but i've seen her fighting and you just don't wish that on anybody

  • nathoam. are you fucking dumb? u want it to happed to you? Do You Wonna Die? i think this video is sad...:(

  • my brothr had a brain tumor when he was lik 1 1/2 it was cancerous. now, on friday, he was aldo diagnosed w/leukemia. this video is really informing and sad.....

  • I had leukemia, and am in remition, as 4 nathoam, you really don't mate. i spent my 18th birthday in hospital with acute myloid. and i wouldn wish it on anyone to go through what i went though, Im now 22 with a 1 year old son. He's beautifull. sad video....made me cry even.
