@immikeurnot When I put the car together about six years ago, cars at about 800 WRHP or higher were having spark and timing problems with the 4.6L coil on plug setup when paired with a standalone system. So I kept it simple and tossed in a distributor. Now with the advances in the new F.A.S.T. or the BigStuff 3 I would go coil on plug if I were to do it again.

This is one great car !! Two valve mod motors can & do rock some power, all you gotta do is start working on one & not be intimadated by the technology.I found them to be almost as easy to work on as the push rod motors. KEEP GOING FASTER !!

danielchambliss i'm gonna have to respectfully tell you you don't need a drop kit or a spacer to put 315s on your car cause i have them on mine and like you have room to spare but i don't have any spacers on mine

hey rsi i am going to respectfully tell you that you are incorrect. I have 315 drag radials on my mustang. I do not have rolled fenders. You have to lower the car 2 inches and add a inch and a quarter spacer. They fit with room to spare.

Actually the car has a pair of 28/10.5W s on it which are wider than a 315 by about a half inch.

No on a 99 and up mustang a 28/10.5 S not the W will fit with plenty of room. It takes a 6.5 to 7 backspacing on the rim.

a 4.6 can be stroked to a 5.0 but still be a 300CID

They can actually be bored and stroked to a 5.3, once you have gone that far though SC's and TC's cant be used due to the thin cylinder walls. U probably know this though.

OK I got ya, yeah man the most you can bore and stroke one of these out to and still maintain enough cylinder wall thickness to run a SC or a TC is 5.1 thus making it a 308ci. This is the same set up that the 2001 MMFF GT Ice Box runs.
