I have been practicing Aikido for just over 2 months now... I have fallen in love with it... Ai-Ki-Do

Ai = Love or harmony

Ki = Inner strength, or energy

Do= Method or Way

so Aikido is the way of Love and Inner strength... doesn't get anymore beautiful than that =)

I don't blame tokaidosan, I think this is perfectly valid commentary. If you are interested to know more though and open your mind, I suggest you look more into it and I think someday you'd definitely would reevaluate your thinking/assumptions about aikido. I have been studying for years and I am still trying to learn it but remain captivated by all it's complexities.
