How to get Areo Glass Effect in VB.NET 2010 (Windows 7/Vista Required)

correct me if am wrong here but isnt that just a difficult way of manipulating the forms opacity property? just add a track bar to the form and use this code to accomplish the same thing

If U can do aero extention, U must know how to fix invisible black text bug.

The tech behind it also explains Y the form must be black. The code basically makes anything black, alpha(transparent). So If you Import a picture using a picture box, any black bit will go transparent. A solution to this bug that works in vb/net would be appreciated. I searched on the internet and can only find solution for C++

@Mrpcwizzkid What I normally do is set it to a dark colour(color 4 u americans(no offense)) Which loks a bit like black but isn't

p.s. Avoid setting the colur to something like 1,1,1 or 2,2,2 or 3,3,3 etc. It will still blend to alpha for some reason. If U don't get me, u really shouldm't bother with the whole glass thng in the 1st place cos it's to do with dlls graphics all that kinda jargon

With paint or another image mount programm, make a clean rettangle with the dimensions of the button, and make it light grey and put in this the letters of the button... now put this image in the button (in background)... now it's not invisible! I do this!
