Jonny's solo is based on a Max/MSP program running on a Mac. He sends the signal of the guitar to the Mac and activates the program by a MIDI Footswitch.

Mm, my favourite example of that is easily The Becoming by Nine Inch Nails. For the first few listens it seems confusing as hell but I think it really works.

Time signature changes are tricky to pull off for a band usually, which is probably why I love them so much.
