I couldn't understand how the shape of the fish tank changed with the shape of the cloth as he moved and folded/unfolded it. Now I do. PB links the effect to anything PERCEIVED as the background - so things in FRONT of the original background appear as holes. I tried holding a green card to the camera. Kind of worked but not perfect. You're a riot! (^.^)
The glitches are caused by inconsistencies in the background. In order to properly "green screen," the backdrop must be uniform, and shadows kept to a minimal. See, it "remembers" all objects in the background, so anything "introduced" after the memory shot is taken, winds up in the final image. This includes shadows, and object movement.
