Demographic evidence indicates that American bombing killed about 40,000 Khmer Rouge fighters and Cambodian civilians (Marek Sliwinski, Le Génocide Khmer Rouge: Une Analyse Démographique (L’Harmattan, 1995), pp41-8, 57). The entire civil war cost 200-300,000 lives; Noam Chomsky found one sentence in a CIA report noting that Sihanouk claimed 600,000 dead on all sides and then used it to propagate the extravagant lie that "the CIA estimated American bombing killed 600,000 civilians!"

@klard yes, but at the other side of it... we couls say that the average citisen is a complete uneducated idiot who is easily frightened and naive... In other words, the maniacs can make most people believe anything.

@klard It is getting scary, we live in so called literate societies, but most people don't have the attention span necessary to even read one full page of text.... all being spoon fed by all kind of propaganda comming from all kinds of ideologies, or mass entertainment...

Imagine, if people don't even have the capability or the desire to read and explore subjects... how much that tells about ability to think for yourself and entertain alternative views... it is scary...

@OBSysteme:It has always been this way sine the first caveman convinced the other to undertake the dangerous role of confronting and distracting while he snuck up and slayed it from behind. Of course they have created more and more powerful mechanisms throughout human history and have expanded their influence to a encompass the entire globe now. But the game has always been the same. These dark magicians are highly organized operating in a monetary/corporatist/military system.

@klard: Truth and Reality have always been lone voices. They also have powerful forces at their disposal which have defeated the Dark Masters before. The battle is over the minds of the masses. To prevail they must be freed from the hypnotic trance their education and training has put them under. They are victims of manipulation who become suppressors and must be viewed as potential allies who can be won over. When enough are, there will be a great tipping point and the system will be broken.
