  • Might be the ground glass, sometimes if not properly grounded you get hot spotting, try using a piece of glass that's more convex or concave... Before i was using a regular piece of plastic, now I'm using a properly grounded piece of glass. And since then it's been smooth sailing. Good luck :)

  • try opening the aperature

  • agree

  • Not to nitpick here, but why do all the people that makes these adapters film test sequences of nature rather than people????? Im sick of looking at flowers, corn, orchards, fields, etc. Most people want to use an adapter to make a movie involving people so we'd like to see the results of what people look like with these devices.

  • videos like this make me prefer the homemade 35mm versus one of the professionally built ones.

  • I'm a little curious how to make this, myself?

  • hi there! Good taste in soundtrack and footage.

How do make that 35mm adapter?

  • Great images, have you found a way to reduce the "hotspot"?

  • Well, my lens is somewhat slow with an f-stop of 3.5.

Lenses with a lower f-stop, like 1.8, have a bigger hole for light to come in, and I assume would make the "hotspot" bigger.

I plan on making a much better one off the designs on jetsetmodels"dot"info

  • I've been there.

  • interesting. i think i heard that song on the propel fitness water commercial except it sounded all techno.
