brestull: a famous German dictator got his order from the German folk. She received her "D.M.A. from Eastman"?... I believe she doesn't know a shit and you...you know even less! She, because next to a lot of things forces him to become faster at the end (you can see him ...let me say surprised) and you, because you believes in a reputation from Eastman. I'm a Westman and I tell you something: believe in God, but not in things like that. Or don't you have eyes and especially ears???

The musical director at St. Patricks Cathedral was chosen for her life long devotion to the church. Dr. Pascual is an accomplished musican but may not be among the great conductors of New York City. To hold this position one must be a devout Catholic and be competant but not necessarily world class.

The conductor is a rather dizzy younger woman: Jennifer Pascual. I would agree that "she doesn't know shit"! She has a doctorate, though that alone is meaningless (they are as common as toilet paper...) She is from FL, and her appointment to the Cathedral seems political. There is a huge talent pool in the NY metro area, which was passed over for her. She has the job due to nominal ability & unquestioning obedience. Not talent, creativity, much less true faith.....

Salvatore may not be among the opera greats but he does sing at the met. This rendition was good but certainly not great. Still to the untrained ear it sounds perfect!
