I saw her get off the plane in Charleston, SC after the players left Corning N.Y. in 2008. I recognized her because she had lots of TV time in Corning or the tournament before when she played strong a few days but faded at the end. She rode in someone else's tournament provided van, unfortunately. I just found out about this tonight on the web and am sorry to hear about it. We miss our LPGA tournament in Charleston, SC, and we'll miss Erica.

Yes, some people that stood close to her are saying it was suicide. Rumours are saying that her father made alot of pressure and demands on her in the game of golf. What a shame.
