It seems to be some ppl have neglected Roy's contribution in the songwriting process.He's not the voice of the band only.He's the co-writer of the songs and most of those beautiful,poetic lyrics were done by him.This,plus his charisma and his voice,are what make him REALLY HARD to replace imo. You could find someone who sings well without much difficulty but he might not have as good chemistry with the band and songwriting ability as Roy has.

YES, it's freaking hard to replace a singer like Roy Khan (one of the best in the whole metal genre) yet I trust the band will find someone who will do a very good job replacing him (unlike Anette :/)

As I think most of us have, I got to know Kamelot with Roy as the lead singer but then I discovered their two first albums and I really enjoyed what I heard (and I still do). Ok, the 1st singer is certainly no Roy Khan but he is not bad, either. That's why I'm willing to hear Kamelot next albums in spite of the fact there won't be no more Khan (at least for a while :P).

Maybe I might be wrong but changing the singer cuold be an improvement to Kamelot! Roy Khan has been a really really great singer, but now he isn't at the level he was a few years ago... with The fourth Legacy and Karma. I think this change can be positive to the group! But of course... I'll always remember Khan as the vocalist of that epic group called Kamelot. Thanks Khan, thanks a lot for all that great songs, plenty of power and majesty! :)

There is no new singer for Kamelot as yet. If by 'new singer' you are referring to Fabio Lione, he is only their vocalist for the concerts at the moment, not an official bandmember or anything. We'll see what the future holds

As a reassurance to all you Kamelot fans, I've seen Kamelot with Roy in 2007 and he was amazing. I saw them with Fabio Leone of Rhapsody last night and he was brilliant too. He really does the songs justice and is just as emotive as Khan.

Roy has resigned definetively from kamelot... he will be really missed. He was a really big inspiration, for me and am sure for a lot of fans out there too. His voice is really unique and his style had changed a lot of paradigms in the power/progresive metal. i wish the best for him and his future, he gave us a lot of masterpieces like this amazing song and it wont be forgotten.
