Like the vid. Just witht he comment on the Sparrow missle they are not heat seeking but are radar guided . The Sidewinder is heating seeking. I have one of the 2011 ones on order so keen to see the differences in the vehicle.
Do you store you Parachute behind the seats? Or do you unfold them and store them flat? Im not sure if its best to store folded up like they are meant to be?
@MrMpala69conv i was lucky enough to find 7 chutes at joecon, plus seats and missiles for skystriker for 40 dollars, all rubberbanded behind the seat and never removed. i had two complete and four with just one parachute, so i was able to complete them all thanks to joecon
@twistedlegacy707 Yes, I've seen advanced pictures of the finished Skystriker (it will be called Sky Fighter in Canada and Europe). The mold is the same but modified. It still has the sweep-wing and landing gear, but only has one non-removable seat and no parachute. I'll review it as soon as possible!

YES! My number one favorite GI Joe vehicle of all time! Not too big, not too small. (Even though it was far from actual scale of an F-14) All of it's features were great. The retracting wings and landing gear were the BEST! Working parachutes that I used until they literally fell apart. I replaced them with light fabric. OF course I had to use a ruber band for a seat belt to keep ACE or other figs in the seat when 'ejecting'.

I heard a rumor that Hasbro doesn't want to re-do the Skystriker because the F-14 it's based on is too old fashioned and won't appeal to kids used to the new ATF/stealth style of jets. Our best hope is a 25th ann. exclusive from KayBee, Walmart, TRU or Target.
Sucks but I had to sell most of it. I always wanted to do reviews on them but never got around to it. I will work on getting them back again sometime.

Yes, you're right. The 1/18 Power Team Elite jets (which are supposed to be really cheap) even sell for a lot more.
