  • Very nice cover of this rag ,, i also agree , that so many of the classic rags benefit from being played at a slower tempo ,, & then it gives the ear time to pick up on all the lovely intricate things going on ,, mind you ,, i just uploaded the 1st section of "The Chrysanthemum" at a slower than slow , snails pace ,, lol ,, sometimes you have to try these things ,, well i liked your version ,, cheers ,, dave :)

  • @reprac9 Thanks for your words, let me go and listen to your Chrysanthemum

  • I used to play piano as a child. Since starting college I've tinkered here and there, but learn best by watching other people play. Learning from sheet music is more difficult for me. I like the tempo in this video. People play it too fast, I've found, and don't put much emotion into it at all. Thanks for replying :) Jessica

  • I love this song... and the video footage as well :) Can you make a video on how to play it? Everyone else plays too fast and I can't see what their fingers are doing. Cheers!

  • @sudacide Do you play as well? I could do this but I read the music as it is written, and it quite clearly describes the tempo. It is a very very emotional piece, that tells a story. Thanks for your comment. Lol Daphne
