Thanks for this app it's great, got mine working spot on now just with some adjustment to the values in your tables (noise and CPM0 needs to be adjusted for the HTC Sensation back cam) other than that it works superb!! I'm going on a intercontinental flight in april so I'm really looking forward to seeing climb to 10-15 CPM, I will know if its accurate then ;-)
@Graham6410 Yes it should work, only we dont have the developer stuff for this and we need support from the manufacturers to handle the different models -- same for the microsoft 7.5 mobil devices or BADA -- all on our nice to have wishlist but hard to fund.
@fallphonometer38 good comment and hard to tell. If you handle the app with care it can help. But as I wrote in our start text, never feel save when you have not counts. But if you have nothing to measure then you are even more unsure whats going on. And you cannot sense a radiation otherwise. It can help making decision. Food A with 5 CPM and Food B with 100 CPM - I would take Food A or none of them... thats what it is intended. In case of emergency you can try to minimize radiation.
Will this be our future? But measuring doesn't necessarily mean controlling the danger. Wouldn't this nice new device give you a false feeling of security? Or might it lead to hysteria in some people measuring all around their daily life?
@LookAmongTheHeavens yes, there are a lot of users in Japan (actually the majority), that's why we translated help file setc. to Japanese (thanks to the volunteer gmax living there - see link on my homepage).
Absolutely wonderful work. I will happily pay the $5. A little complex for the end user, but far and away the most scientific treatment of this type I've seen anywhere. Delighted to see you've developed for the Android too. I've suspected for some time that this might be possible to do and am very happy to see someone has done it and done it in a scientifically proper manner. Danke schön :D
Latest tables also include the Sony Ericson phone X10i and X15i listed on our homepage - always look there for the latest supported phones (with measurement data)
