@fgh8ud WiiWare games sell like shit and I'd imagine it's harder/if not impossible to port there. File size limits and all that jazz. They aren't screwing anybody over. Tails was predictable, but still an awesome inclusion. Metal Sonic was in Generations, but a pleasant surprise. Sega, you've got the basic formula down. Refine it, make it more classic, improve what you've gotten, and make it great. You've got the potential. Use it.

Sonic Generations was the first Sonic game I've ever played and now I'm looking forward to a new one... I understand this series hasn't always been on its A-game though, so my fingers are crossed quite loosely. That they're crossed at all for Sonic is a day I never thought I'd see, to be honest.

@friedflyer72 SEGA has been playing it safe lately, and it has been working. They have the gameplay down and can probably work on adding extra characters to play as too. Silver doesn't need his own game. And you are WAY wrong about Shadow. Shadow only got his own game, because of how popular he was with the fans people demanded a return, and he got it in Heroes. And got his own game because people still loved him.

SEGA taking risks has been the death of them at times, but I as a fan tried to enjoy them to my best abilites. And Silver's overall character was recived poorly, due to 06 being his big reveal.....which the characters HAD no character.

And u said if he did get his own game it would suck like 06 just because sega takes chances in the past to create a game. That was 1 time they took a risk for a game. Who knows if silver gets his own game. It could become another sonic 06, or it could out sell the next call of duty. U never know if it will be good or bad.....

U may want to answer "No one will buy the game since silver has low ratings". Thats not true. Sega doesnt want to do it since they dont take that risks on what fans want. Sega needs to grow some balls and and go through with it. People say its thous bad games that make sonic fans frowned upon, but no one said his game would be bad. @friedflyer72 SEGA has been playing it safe lately, and it has been working. They have the gameplay down and can probably work on adding extra characters to play as too. Silver doesn't need his own game. And you are WAY wrong about Shadow. Shadow only got his own game, because of how popular he was with the fans people demanded a return, and he got it in Heroes. And got his own game because people still loved him.

@friedflyer72 The fact that 06 was released as a pile of shit, was due to Microsoft rushing it and SEGA "taking the risk". SEGA taking risks has been the death of them at times, but I as a fan tried to enjoy them to my best abilites. I even may not agree with what others say about the games, but that's the thing, SEGA is looking for what we want. And Silver's overall character was recived poorly, due to 06 being his big reveal.....which the characters HAD no character.

In terms of popularity (And in terms of being GOOD), Shadow shits on Silver, and that's why he has his own game. And by most fan's standards, that goes without a question.
