  • according to history indonesia had a hindu empire called majapahit before any foreign influence. saying that a nation copied with out any proof is fiction and juts an opinion

  • This dance copied from Kathakali dance-drama. An Indian classic performance.

Name changed, costume changed & its music. Claimed by by Indonesian as theirs.

  • wow, this malingshit doesn't know anything. just because malasia doesn't have any culture, it doesn't give you the right to diss indonesian culture. kathakali is not only different, the only thing similar is the source of the story.

  • @abottskatt while it seems evident to me as well, that south indian hinduism and dance, especially kathakali dance, had a great influence in bali... i think "copy" is far from the right word choice. balinese culture and their religious practices are very much their own. Also it's pretty standard for organized religions to be introduced somewhat violently to places where there is a pre-existing spiritual practice. i only jump on this as an indian dancer who studies balinese dance too.

  • beh.. inget waktu SD pindan yen sing milu ngigel pasti kene lempang ajak gurunè.. he he he

  • i hear thai people talking about a camera

  • This dance is "Baris", which literally means "file", as in a rank of soldiers. The dancer depicts the feelings of a young warrior prior to battle.

  • scary o.o
