  • Great videos, thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience. I've been looking over on the internet for easy and cheap fpv planes builds and your designs look so nice and simple! I guess you put a lot of efforts, trials (and errors?) to refine this. I hope I'll soon be able to send you a video of your plane flying over the Ardennes (where I live in France). Keep up the good work!!

  • @bendunia It would make me extremely happy to see that video! I and some other guys are having good success with the Peace Drone for FPV flying. It is not hard to build if you can find the right foamboard. When you do, please tell me where you got it so I can help other builders around the EU. I'm sure you'll also appreciate the canard design - a French word and a French invention! Also see video for Armin Wing part 9 for the accidental French flag in the thumbnail.

  • Super Thanks Good Idea! Thanks Loot for you video

  • Excellent video. Well presented, clear, concise and with all the important details. Well done!

  • You have a ton of batteries...

  • WoW!!!

    Thank you !!!

    More videos!!!

  • This is Awesome Bro,just what I needed I'm going to start building my own foamies soon

  • Keep'em coming great stuff this is just what i needed to see.

  • @Snoppus Hey, that's a brilliant idea! Did you also tape the outer surface of the bend? If you can describe it a little, and define the depth of material removed, maybe I can add a Depron version video.

  • excellent video more please

  • Fantastic videos and easy to follow. I built my very first Armin wing today and WOW, I can't find the words to express how well your build techiniques worked. In Canada, it is of course winter now and with your helpful videos, my friends and I will have a new plane to fly in the snow.

  • @RCPrairieFlyyer That's great to hear! I hope we can see your creation soon. I wish you blue skies and warm fingers!

  • Skydiving with Danes, Mexico beer, Ecco sandals..... that explains the well flying crazy designs. :)

  • Hi. Great...!!!! Brilliant... Cheers from Denmark / Carsten

  • @carstensonderskov Alright man! Danes are the best! Skaal!

  • hahahaha :)))))) Laugh....A LOT. Where do you know Danish from. ???

Mayby you can help. I dont know what kind of foam it is your using. I dont understand the English word. Will you send me a link to where i can buy it online, and mayby that way figure it out. SKAAL..... hahaha.

Your video's ar by far the best I've seen. Thank you very much.

    Cheers Carsten

    Kind regards Carsten

  • @carstensonderskov Well, my skydiving instructor Birgitte from many years ago was Danish and very memorable. There were other Danish skydivers who came through Arizona and were always great to hang out with. I partied some with some of the Danish national football team in Mexico once. My watch is a Skagen, my sandals Ecco, and most of my furniture is made in Denmark, from a store here called Copenhagen, and another Bova. You get the idea!

  • @carstensonderskov It's called "foamboard" or "foamcore" and can be found at many craft stores, teacher supply stores, and photography supply stores. Can't post a URL here but Google "dollar tree foamboard teacher" and see Readi-Board there. In EU you might be just fine using Depron with tape reinforcement. It's too expensive here. US$1 for cheap foamboard with thin paper is great value here. If you find it be sure the paper is thin and peels off easily.

  • Nice job! Everybody should to complain how is expansive buy a airplane. I can understand a simple airplane cost the same price the one TV 32" or TABLET.

  • Yes, thanks for the video, sub-ed

  • Awesome video, love it, thanks for sharing :-)

  • Dude!!! That is awesome!

  • Great vid.

    Donnie D

  • How thick are the form boards?

  • @noobnub Readi-Board is 5mm thick, so a bit less than 1/4 inch

  • Hi again

I've looked at depron and it seems that it can not be bend without breaking. Do you know what company is making the foam your using. ?

    Kind regards Carsten

  • @carstensonderskov RL Adams makes Readi-Board brand foamboard in the US, but I do not believe they export. I'm certain there is an equivalent in Denmark or nearby. Look in craft stores, office supply stores, etc. Be sure to get one with thin paper. There are more expensive, higher quality foamboards with very heavy paper that is very difficult to get off and useless for this wing making technique.

  • Hi and thanks for your replay....I'm digging in to it...

    Happy flying.

    Chers

    Carsten

  • Great wing. I will be building some of these I am going to put it on the Puddle Monster to see how it flys over the build up wing.that is in the plans this is a lot easier to build.

    Thanks,

PS do you have plans for the C-69 cargo dropper?

    Duane

  • @Cork42044 Thanks man, let us know how it works out. I do not have plans for the cargo dropper but hope to have some plans for something close to it soon.

  • Necessity is ""THE MOTHER of ALL INVENTION"! Keep up the GOOD Work

  • Great work very simple and effective way to build an Airfoil
