  • @HogHab actually trying to make Kobe number

  • He catches, establishes pivot, jab steps, then dribbles - not a travel.

  • Guys, the missing step here was "Be Kobe Bryant".

If you're not Kobe Bryant you're gonna get called for travel a whole buncha times.

  • Lebron took these extra steps and ended up traveling

  • travel on 1:27, left foot was pivot

  • @Keep05 could be wrong that was a travel right? i don't know ....everytime i see that move it looks funny....i've seen cats do the exact same move and the refs get em every time.....guess its the Kobe rule

  • @Keep05 actually, it wasnt. he took his dribble before his left foot landed

  • 360 windmill ankle breaker fake dunk-fadeaway 3 pointer

  • I can't belive it, kobe just travel at the last move

  • @rodrigonba17 where??

  • @rodrigonba17 yep, just as he did on the second move.

  • The only problem is that there's no way I could ever hit that Jumper

  • JUST MADE A VIDEO OF MY FORM - Please give me constructive criticism on it... Thanks!

  • is it just me.. or is the last one a travel?

  • no top comment........

    so what?-_-

  • @newhazard1,your fucking mind cant understand lebron legacy

  • he travelled in segment 2 and 3. in the last segment, people call it a "step-through move". another way of calling it a travel. stopped (left then right foot), fake (finta), spin (rolling) of his pivot foot and then lifts that same foot to gain ground. not legal by FIBA but in NBA, I guess it is.

  • @djekna bro.....why you beefin? he didnt travel. he use that in the FIBA games and there was no call. you just another hater???

  • @newhazard1 Thats just funny. XD

  • LeBron learned from this vid but still made 16 youtube accounts to dislike this.. :)

  • @Biniel9 typical hater. so stupid

  • @Biniel9 and u made one 2 hate on lebron

  • @Biniel9 still travelling:D

  • @Biniel9 LOL NICES ONE

  • @Biniel9 and traveled at the same time

  • he just makes it look so simple.

  • To make those shots youre jump shot hafe to be fast and great

  • no top comment my chance yes :)

  • @xPavel1x your chance to GetFucked son

  • ok, im ready to go to the court now.

  • NBA never fucking calls travels so why does it matter?

  • Comment removed

  • Kobe Bryant can shoot from every zone in the court that he doesn't miss a single ball. He doesn't need any move.

  • @GuilhermeEFOliveira out of every player who has made 10,000 shots, guess who's missed the most? kobe

  • I love and use all of these moves

  • Lebron Traveled either way

  • the shoes r hot ...

  • Kobe Bryant is a bad mother fucka when it comes to basket ball.

  • Stop freaking out over a tutorial travel. The best places to look for in-game travels are LeBron videos.

  • @sTRAydOg808 lmaooo

  • @joeyrenaissance if they call that a travel, every time somebody would v-cut it would be a travel

  • LOL @1:12

    Nice tongue action haha

  • dont try them people you got to be very athletic guys like kobe lebron are fun to watch but dont learn from them learn from guys like cp3 larry bird i can go on

  • lmao look at all the basketball experts tryin to tell kobe how not to travel lmao smh

  • TRAVEL DEFINITLY but before the move, look at 0:22 he is behind the triple line and then without dribbling he is 1 step before in 0:28 hahah

but anyway great move and no Travel for all the super intelligents

  • I guess he's travelling in the second vid.

When he makes the jab step, he's using the left foot as pivot foot, but when he starts dribbling he raises the left foot first....so it's travelling, at least according to FIBA rules. Correct me if I'm wrong....nice video though, and Kobe's the best ;-)

  • I guess he's travelling in the second vid.

  • Beast

  • YOU ARE THE KING!!

  • just blaze on the beat

  • that's spin ? how is it a travel? xD

  • el emjor jugador kobe

  • 2:43 kobe travels :P

  • @Dirtb4G Not a travel, even though he paused, he took 2 steps after picking the ball up.

  • @Dirtb4G That's not a travel.

  • but the first position was not the triple threat position lol but still great video

  • this is epic

  • Comment removed

  • 1:23 was a travel, he took a jab step with his right foot, then took off his left (pivot) foot for the drive BEFORE he dribbled.

  • @joeyrenaissance He probably learned it from Lebron

  • @joeyrenaissance you are 100% from europe. this is allowed in nba

  • @BarcafanMr lol wow noob.... that is travel in ANY league. The basketball god Michael Jordon himself said so. Don't even argue.

  • @joeyrenaissance shut the fuck up

  • @BarcafanMr LOLUMAD?

  • @joeyrenaissance You're definitely right man ;-)

  • @joeyrenaissance haha if you're a modern basketball fan you should know that they wont even bother calling it .. superstars always do this to get an even faster first step

  • @joeyrenaissance its not a travel. the ball hit the ground first

  • @PaulFreestar14 its a travel because he pivot foot left the ground BEFORE the ball left his hands... got nothing to do AT ALL with the ball hitting the ground LOL

  • @joeyrenaissance sorry man.didnt see it that way.thanks for the info tho

  • @joeyrenaissance 15 people out of 314486 think the same, you are truely correct xD

FYI, moments like this are not really judge by the timing but by the motion itself...

    P. S. Even if it's a travel, because I admit you can always argue on that move, it leaves some room for debate let's say, then half of plays made by modern superstars, Rondo, CP3, D. Rose, D. Wade and of course the master of all travel, the LeBron James - are travels. Even the most famous MJ's style is a travel style then.

  • @noopz0r so since ur comment has no thumbs up, i guess it means only yourself out of 314486 people agree with it? A travel is a travel, whether it was called or not is another matter; a lot of times it is NOT called because the lifting of the pivot foot happens JUST because the ball is released from the hand. Technically, it is still a travel, and that is all i said ~

  • @joeyrenaissance Wrong, it is not called due to specific regulations of the NBA, tailored in years to make the game more entertaining and scoring easier. It's not Euro basketball, it's an NBA player we're talking about...

    P. S. My comment is too long to be the "tumbs up" type of thing, and also it is somehow only 14 hours old, when yours is about a month old... Just sayin'...

  • @joeyrenaissance nope, he released the ball before he lifted his pivot.

  • @katsup5128 lol. u must be blind... and to all the people arguing its not a travel, even MJ says its a travel in ANY league. Watch from 0:25 youtube.com/watch?v=_b18s26Usrg

  • @joeyrenaissance maybe he didn't necessarily release the ball before lifting his pivot, but it was approximately at the same time. Note that the video is in slow motion so it doesn't seem that way, but in real-time it is so insignificant that any ref wouldn't call it. I've seen that MJ video too a long time ago, so you don't need to try to school me, i'm pretty sure my knowledge and skills are better than yours.

  • @joeyrenaissance Here is a video that I found kobe travelling in REAL-TIME, but I got mad dislikes for pointing it out. watch?v=GfYB1SrcriY

  • @joeyrenaissance And he traveled on the pivot move too because his pivot foot left the ground before his other foot did.

  • @joeyrenaissance Not in NBA bro

  • @joeyrenaissance its actually allowed in NBA

  • Comment removed

  • @joeyrenaissance I don't think it's a travel cus he dribbled before his left foot was planted

  • @Jonconso whether it was a travel or not depends on whether his left foot was LIFTED before the ball left his hands, not whether it was PLANTED. lol

  • @joeyrenaissance the way they play it is off. And you'd have to be extremely picky to call that a travel anyways. There's a bit of leniency in calling travel at the moment someone starts dribbling/picks up the ball.

  • @Brad633 its still a travel, and its in real time just slowed down

  • @tkwtg As stupid as this argument feels i feel like proving you wrong anyways. It's not in real time, its in overlapping time at 1:27 it shows his right foot at the white line, he takes a couple steps where you cant see him start dribbling, then it changes views right after and you see that it clearly wasn't a travel....

  • @Brad633 *his right foot is still at the white line when they change views....therefore its the same time not continued

  • @Brad633 i feel the same way about this being stupid but the bottom line is regardless of the editing, he picked up his pivot foot before he dribbled the ball and before it hit the ground. Watch at 1:27 after the cut and as the defender shifts to the left kobe picks up his left foot (pivot foot) and steps with it before dribbling. that is a travel. the highschool i go to has the best basketball team in the region and the coaches are fantastic, and whenever the team practices this is the most *

  • @Brad633 * called travel out of any other violation. coaches really hate this mistake. if the refs and the coaches are sticking to the rules, then you have to put the ball on the ground before moving your pivot foot.

  • @tkwtg

I can agree with you on that, but this was not a travel right here. Kobe definitely moved his pivot feet BEFORE he dribbled, but it hit the dribble at least a .1 second because watch 1:28-1:30. It was not a travel my man, rewatched it 3x only and it was definitely not a travel in KOBE'S case.

  • @joeyrenaissance

    I watched it 3x, wasn't a travel.

  • @joeyrenaissance look at 1:25 dribble first before step -.-

  • @joeyrenaissance cutscene

  • @joeyrenaissance almost. His left did leave the ground before the dribble, but as long as it didn't come back down before the dribble it's legal.

  • @joeyrenaissance could be but if you look really closely after the jab step you see that he took off his right foot just a little bit and then ran

  • @joeyrenaissance he already was moving that foot, but i won't dissagree on the fact that NBA players get away with alot of travels

  • @joeyrenaissance who cares its not even a real game. in fact its not a game at all. lets see u play kobe 1on1

  • @joeyrenaissance

its not a travel because on the slow mo. you can see the dribble take place before the left foot ever touches the ground. but for a sec, i thought you might have a point. trust me, slow mo reveals a legal move.

  • @joeyrenaissance no because he dribbled after he came out of the pivot position to dribble, the first time you catch the ball you are allowed to pivot and then dribble afterwards, if you stop and hold the ball in two hands then you are not allowed to take your pivot foot of the ground and re-place it. you we're close but wrong :/

  • @joeyrenaissance everybody's replying to this guy lolol just never doubt kobe. period.

  • I bought http://www.50inchvertical.com for our 17 year old son wanting to track down an excellent basketball routine for him. The training not only kept him fit, it has awarded him a great deal more self confidence. He appreciates to be able to show his mates how much higher he is able to leap and his overall ability has considerably improved enough that he is now starting on the high school squad. I definitely suggest it if you play bball.

  • @rorygrossmann3141 type normal you moran

    BAD AWNSER!!

  • only if kobe could do this every time he get the ball

  • I dont even like kobe like that but he can do things most guards cant do, Ex. He can drive better than most guards, shoot, and aslo post up just like a big man so no mattet what u do u cant stop him. U take awaye lebrons driving ability attributes and add an average player that simple.

  • Please stop with this LeBron bullshit. Yes, he's a great player no denying that, and so is Kobe. They're both the faces of basketball and make more money then you. So hate on these two all you want, just know that they're getting paid to play sports while you're getting paid to flip burgers.

  • You can call Lebron better all you want. Everyone is free to have their own opinion. But I will say this....you dont see many people watching lebron trying to add his moves to their game. Kobe Bryant is the first basketball player ive ever seen with no weakness in his game. He will score 40 on your best defender while shutting down your best scorer. If you keep lebron out the paint he becomes average.

  • @1PedroFeliz it's because LeBron is more hated, unfortunately (or fortunately, depending)

  • in FIBA rules its travel but in NBA its not travel.... Kobe is one of the best players in the world right now!!

  • Pump Fake making a step there somebody noticed

  • Traveling...

  • Lebron James?? Better!!! LMFAO!! If he was better Haslem wouldnt have outscored him in the 4th quarter in the Finals... Luckly he didnt have Caron Butler to guard he would have been embarrased

  • kobe looks so cool when he pivots 2:38

  • lebron learned this and still travelled

  • The pump fake and pivot is just such a good move and he makes it so fast ..... he made that vs NYK that shot was epic!!

  • lmao 2:45 the white guy trys to stop it what a fail

  • its my birthday!!!!

  • I love Kobe's shoes!

  • god that pump fake pivot is wicked sexy

  • damn he is tall

  • shane battier, bruce bowen ,latrell sprewell, stephen jackson, tony allen, dwayne wade, rudy gay, lebron james, kenyon marton,oj mayo all disliked this cus they all were brutalized by this exact shot in some form or fashion

  • whats this music !? SOMEONE TELL ME NOW

  • @axon209 search "USA basketball anthem"

  • this music would make a video of scalabrine eating a hamburger epic
