I used turbocnc to drive the machine. You can see from the webpage I link to in the description that I actually used a 3D toolpath, I then connected the rotary table to the y axis and made sure it would turn one rotation over the length of the 3D drawn part.
What material is that?

It is a homemade one, built from a small worm gearbox.
